Matts& knotts27 Oct 2006 13:20 GMT6
My 6 year old tabby has been getting mats all over his fur. Every year he's
been getting these mats more and more. During the winter it's really bad but
in the summer they get better. This year though they did not get better. I
try combing them, cutting them out but I feel I'm not ...
Cleo helps run the Macros27 Oct 2006 07:25 GMT2
I was running some "Macros" in Access to import a few hundred Excel
workbooks. Some of the workbooks have been imported before, so a warning
pops up asking if you want to overwrite the existing data. As I was sitting
there typing "Y"es, Cleo decided I was ignoring her. So she was ...

I won't go into the reasons why but I have decided to leave Usenet. I will
most likely return to this group in the future at the times when my
present two cats - Andy (4) and Mary (at least 4) go to the RB. I wish you
all well, and a happy holiday season.
Reggie27 Oct 2006 02:30 GMT13
Perhaps some of you remember my stories of Reggie, the Orange
Smurgler.  He lived for many years in a local bakery, which closed
down at the beginning of this year.  Reggie is a wonderful deep orange
cat, with a big ol' head, and round, very sweet eyes, and he was the

Blimey.  When I got KFC a box to use - having never had one before - I
naively thought that with one tiny 4lb cat using it, I might get away with
scooping a 16x11 inch box every 2-3 days.
Not so.

Chlortrimeton - Vet prescribed and OTC the same?26 Oct 2006 07:28 GMT6
As some of you know, I've been using Prednisolone for my cat's licky
granuloma, and the latest round hasn't been working, so I'm going to try
Derm Caps vitamins and 4 mg of Chlortrimeton.  Does anyone know if the
over the counter name brand is the same compound as the generic ...

Spotty is Doing Well26 Oct 2006 05:47 GMT6
No takers on anyone adopting Spotty from the House of Mews yet, but I'm told
he's doing well.  He's socializing with the other kitties and generally
doing just fine.  YAY!

nightmare26 Oct 2006 03:17 GMT49
I have probably been reading to many scary news items.  I had a nightmare
Tuesday night.  I was in a dark place and a dark figure approached me and
got around my neck with its hands and then got face to face with me.  I
fought back with all my strength and finally was able to get ...

That's the song I'm singing today:
Nine - whole - pounds...

For six weeks now he's been holding that weight!

I'm a sucker....25 Oct 2006 12:59 GMT52
I was at PetSmart yesterday to get cat food and one of the rescue
groups was there... .  There was this absolutely precious black and
white tuxedo boy with folded ears (Scottish fold type folded ears).
Apparently he was abandoned when his people moved. I sat there for
