| Clean off a table and find... | 30 Oct 2006 16:37 GMT | 1 |
Kitty cards! Yes, I had that much paper crap (mostly junk mail) piled on my end table by the sofa. I unearthed a box of kitten notecards I'd completely forgotten I have! Time to send a few thank-you notes to people who have done nice things for me this year :) (It's also a kick ...

| How will the USA survive? | 30 Oct 2006 14:40 GMT | 69 |
I learned this morning of a terrible thing. The U.S.A. has banned, yes *banned* the importation of vegemite, to the extent where they are searching Australians entering the USA and confiscating their precious vegemite (black gold). This is apparently because it contains added

| Preventing mats | 30 Oct 2006 01:41 GMT | 5 |
I had to have Tiger shaved back in June to get rid of a lot of bad mats. I want to get a grooming brush that will help me to prevent future mats. What is the best one for this purpose (Zoom Groom)? TIA ---MIKE---

| Noise, noise, and more noise... | 29 Oct 2006 13:18 GMT | 19 |
It's the first day of the Hindu Diwali festival today. My home town has a large asian community. It's been non-stop bangs, screeches, and hisses from the fireworks. Mrs Cat HATES the noise, and has been clinging to me all day

| our 'watch cat' | 29 Oct 2006 12:56 GMT | 4 |
Ruff (we let our pug name her) will growl at any and all cars and / or people going by when i hold her up to look through the front door window (though she's a very gentle cat otherwise). thought it was a fluke at first, but she does it without fail! too cool. growl comes 'right ...

| OLIVES! | 29 Oct 2006 07:10 GMT | 1 |
what is the deal with cats and green olives? if you haven't tried it, do. every cat i've owned has been crazy ('literally') for them. almost a catnip fix. stalk them, roll 'em around, and finally - when they're all fuzzy from the rug - 'kill 'em and eat 'em. !!!

| Rosie has acne | 29 Oct 2006 05:22 GMT | 20 |
This morning an abscess broke open under Rosie's chin. A trip to the vet resulted in the diagnosis of acne with a secondary infection. The problem spots were drained and flushed and we brought her home with some medicated wipes and Clavamox drops.

| We don't want that, Thank You! | 29 Oct 2006 05:14 GMT | 6 |
We were getting low on cat food, so I picked up a can of Tuna from the mini store in the concourse near work. They don't carry cat food, as it's a scaled down version of a large chain store for the lunch crowd. It's actually a great concept and they're raking in a ton of money ...

| Treats for my furbabies | 29 Oct 2006 00:48 GMT | 3 |
Try some Liv-a-Littles (manufactured by Halo) if you are looking for a special "treat" for your furbabies and haven't tried them yet. I got the "Whole Chicken" flavor, made from freeze-dried chicken. They look completely unpalatable to me -- sort of like eating styrofoam -- but ...

| Yadda Yadda to my cats | 28 Oct 2006 22:04 GMT | 15 |
I'm sure your cats, like ours, talk to you. At our place Emily is the gabbiest. And of course, like us, you probably reply to them. It's odd. We enjoy these human-cat conversations but we really don't know exactly what each other is saying. It's probably our fault. Catspeak is

| Purr request for a dog. | 28 Oct 2006 21:37 GMT | 18 |
My sisters boyfriend put his dog, Karni, down today. Karni was perfectly healthy but unfortunately had a dangerous dog order placed on her. It sounds very dramatic, but Karni wasn't crazy or psychotic. She did however bite someone who complained to the council and the

| These two brothers need a home | 28 Oct 2006 21:01 GMT | 4 |
http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7223692 Frazier has been off insulin for 2 days now. It seems he may only need a diet change (which will also help his physique). They are by all counts a loving couple of big boys who are very confused. I know the foster mom ...
