I can't believe I've had the little booger for a whole year!!
A year ago I saw that little scrap of black and white bitty muscle his
way up to the front of the cage (over, under and around an older,
calmer roommate), plant himself by the door and NYOW-WOW his little
Very OT: Trapped an armadillo (pictures)02 Oct 2006 21:03 GMT7
My neighbor trapped "my" armadillo. They get in periodically by burrowing
under the fence, and they can do a tremendous amount of damage (as everyone
from Texas already knows). My neighbor built his own "hav-a-hart" trap
because the metal traps intended for cats and dogs are too ...
Vino off s/d02 Oct 2006 19:55 GMT6
I'm sorry I've been negligent in replying to posts.  I've been so busy
working and Dennis has been home this month and I've been trying to
maximize time spent with him.
Vino is improving lots, he's gained all his weight back and is pretty
Update- Purrs for Thomas02 Oct 2006 19:54 GMT21
Hi~~ Thank you for the wonderful replies! I went to visit Thomas this
AM. Didn't stay too long as it seemed to upset him because he wanted to
come out and wander about. He has recovered all his energy. The Vet
wants him to stay until tomorrow evening so he can be sure that he is
Update on the "Purrs for my mom"02 Oct 2006 19:54 GMT11
She still has no answers. She scares me, seriously. Last week she
came with me to my eye appt (my opthamologist is interested in the
genetics of glaucoma, so was interested in taking with her if she
could come) and just walking on a straight path from the parking lot
UPDATE on Missy02 Oct 2006 19:53 GMT4
Missy went to to her new home on Thursday - here's an update from her new
'grandmamma (DH's co-worker, who took Friday off work to help her daughter
move into her new apartment)
First - Missy - now named Cordelia - is doing great!

Request a few automotive purrs02 Oct 2006 19:51 GMT41
A couple of days ago, I was sitting at a red light, when the guy
in front of me suddenly started backing up. I leaned on the horn,
but he kept coming. I watched in horror as the hood of my car
buckled up right in front of me.
Purrs Please02 Oct 2006 19:50 GMT16
I need purrs for two things. Joanne was rear ended Monday. Her neck and
arms  are injured. She's staying about the same. Because she's hurt I'm
having to fill her shifts. My aides are really busy so scheduling is
diffult. Please send healing purrs and scheduling purrs.
Purrs for Thomas02 Oct 2006 19:50 GMT15
Hi~~ Would sure appreciate purrs for Thomas, who is being treated at the
Vets for urinary blockage.(despite his being on Purina Urinary food for
four years) Will let you know how he makes out!
                      Thanks, Hazel
Purrs for Scouty02 Oct 2006 19:49 GMT15
The girls ate their dinner about ten minutes ago and I think Scouty
overindulged... she just jumped down onto the floor and quietly
upchucked her undigested gooshy food! Poor baby... I guess she didn't
have time to get to the bathroom, where she usually goes if she feels
My cats are out of control02 Oct 2006 19:42 GMT10
Last night I was sitting in the arm chair working on the computer when
Pearl came up to sit on the arm. This is usually followed by a bit of
biting meaning either "I'm hungry" or "I'm bored".  Last night though,
she kept digging at me, like she does with a blanket. It finally ...
Jake's Follow-up visit to TED02 Oct 2006 19:39 GMT9
Jake had his follow-up visit with TED this afternoon.  He was diagnosed with
a much to rapid pulse and a heart murmur a month ago.
The meds are really working.  His pulse rate is way down and he has really
perked up over the last month.  So much so that I had to ask the vet what ...
Emergency serious job purrs needed02 Oct 2006 19:27 GMT32
A couple of weeks back I went after a job, a lovely job, more money,
nearer home (More time to skritch a Furball or two!) and they were
supposed to call me last Monday. They didn't....
Anyway this morning less than 5 minutes after I'd got the letter that
Chester - flood of relief02 Oct 2006 19:24 GMT10
Fred got up at the crack of dawn to go on a hiking trip for three days and I
couldn't find Chester after he left.  I thought Chester had run out into the
cold dark morning and was very concerned about his safety.
When I got home at 4:00 PM, still no Chester.
