Dropping back in for a bit.07 Oct 2006 02:52 GMT12
I've been really busy with school and real life.  I've been down loading
when and what I can and am thinking of you all.  To all who need or want
them, I'm sending ;purrs and good thoughts.  To those who are new here,

Video - Monkey and tiger cubs07 Oct 2006 02:38 GMT3
This is too funny!  This monkey must have come across these tiger
cubs playing, and wanted to play himself!  :)  He sure does aggravate
the cubs though.
I just wish this video was clearer.  I found it easier to watch if

OMG! Tessie and the complete Bastard Cat Trick06 Oct 2006 22:30 GMT9
Tessie just tried to give me a complete heart attack... I went out the
front door for a few minutes to get some air, and when I opened the
door to go back inside, she darted out of it! I shrieked at her in
horror and started to go to chase her, hoping to be able to grab her

...at least, I *hope* it was from Smudge!06 Oct 2006 14:00 GMT15
I got home tonight around midnight, and found a very large, very dead
rat lying right in front of my front door. Smudge came trotting up the
stairs with me (my front door is on the second-floor landing), and she
didn't seem the slightest bit fazed by it, so this makes me think she
Arthur the Dancing Bear06 Oct 2006 04:33 GMT2
Well, it was dinnertime, and as usual, I was stepping gently trying to
avoid nine cats are swirling around my feet.  And as usual, some of
them were getting out their pre-dinner aggressions by batting, chasing
and the occasional hiss-spit.
Tres ninos06 Oct 2006 03:53 GMT1
I got up in the middle of the night to read, and to have a light
snack.
Buster, who pretty much stays on the bed, often under a pillow or
inside a pillowcase (security issues?), decided to join me on the

Since his post and Paulette's heads-up (thanks Paulette!) drew me out of the
woodwork. Here's the original.

We had an adventure05 Oct 2006 22:36 GMT1
Samwise here to tell you about our adventure. We are not allowed in the
basement but Paw was working down there and he didn't latch the door tight.
We got the door open and spent part of the night exploring. Paw sure has a
lot of fun things to check out. We did get cob webs and ...
My excellent nurse kitties05 Oct 2006 22:09 GMT20
Our kitties tend to be excellent snugglers, especially on the bed. But
they usually just find a clear spot on the bed and curl up.  Since last
weekend, though, I've been fighting off a bad case of the flu. Unlike
previous times I've had the flu, this time it seems to be ...

The toy box05 Oct 2006 06:01 GMT14
I have a cardboard box (sort of double-wide shoebox sized, but
deeper) that cat toys are kept in, and I throw them in when I clean
and vacuum.  It sits on its side, because when I started this,
that’s how it always ended up.  ;)
Hate to do it, but05 Oct 2006 01:16 GMT2
Sending blanket purrs and congrats again.  I've had a hard time
keeping up, so if I have missed responding to any of you (and I'm sure
I have!), it doesn't mean I wasn't purring for you or thinking about
you.
