Had lunch today with Annie and Jim and their daughter Christine, who had
the grandson in tow.  Annie and Jim are in the Seattle area on a
whirlwind  "visit all the folks" tour and took time to have lunch with

Ever since we introduced Ka'Shay to our pack  Spirit has become her guardian

Miss Wootoo Communicates10 Oct 2006 19:39 GMT4
Last night I was settled into one of the two computer chairs writing

had to buy to avoid fighting over the one) when she hopped down from
her chair and yeeked at me. Since 'yeek' seems to mean "do something,
Shine On, Harvest Moon10 Oct 2006 19:14 GMT8
Did you guys notice how bright the harvest moon was? The cats were so
restless, wanting outside. Like they *knew* the hunting was excellent.
I had a hard time explaining to them that the hunting was also good
higher up on the food chain than they were.
Suggestion to Blacky10 Oct 2006 15:02 GMT1
Yesterday evening: Blacky didn't like the remaining wet food any more,
so I opened a cup with salmon cat food for him. He munched away one

Use common sense people !!  If cat sick take it to the vet.
If your human child were sick would you go ask a stranger on the street what
to do or post your question in a newsgroup about kids ?!?!?!?
If you can not afford health care for it then maybe it is time to think about

I've been reading all your posts about the hospital situation with Dave, and
what it's like and how they treat him.
I am not really surprised, judging by my own experience last year.  I found
the pain control inadequate too.
Roxie purrs please!09 Oct 2006 22:17 GMT9
I hope it's only maternal paranoia. Roxie this morning started coughing and
at a point or two dropped little bits of what I'd call dingleberries, had
they stuck to the fur surrounding the dingleberry supply mechanism. A few
minutes before this, she ate her morning chow like a horse. ...

Miss Lily Whiskers is home09 Oct 2006 21:51 GMT35
Thanks to TED, Miss Lily Whiskers came home this evening. A bit sore and
a bit bald on her bum, but OK.
TED took X-rays this morning and had a good look. Lily did indeed have
an airgun pellet lodged in her back, but fortunately it wasn't very deep

Yesterday, Harry had a live bird in the house*, I figured someone else
caught it and Harry just usurped the spoils.  But Nooooooo!   Today he
brought in a chipmunk, not releaseable, then just now a vole, also now
with the choir invisible.  Now I know why when the catdoor is opened ...
