The fluffy layabed is back...18 Sep 2006 21:03 GMT19
I have missed the fine people in this group a lot.
So - I shut down some other NGs to allow me time to access this one again.
Afraid my reading it will still be erratic. I am still suffering from some
weird sleep disorder that renders me unconscious for long periods. For

hope I remember how to do this.
Here's my Pal Zak.  Still holding up pretty well with his CRF.

Cat meets mouse18 Sep 2006 20:37 GMT8
I mentioned a while back that we had arrived at our daughter's house and
Rosie and Cinder were confined to the spare basement bedroom while we were
waiting to take possession of our apartment.
During our stay, a mouse took up residence in the basement. Eventually, its
Purrs for this poor unfortunate cat.......18 Sep 2006 20:19 GMT61
No, this cat is not dying.  In fact as far as I know this cat is in
EXCELLENT health.
So why the purrs?
Well, he came in for a shave and bath, and since i had my camera to
Tonkinese Mind Meld18 Sep 2006 03:35 GMT2
It took Chessie a week but she finally got her thoughts through my thick
skull!!  For a week now, whenever I was sitting or in bed, she has insisted
on being literally nose to nose with me - somewhat annoying.  Tonight I
suddenly thought to check the food dish on top of a 6-foot ...
Candy for breakfast17 Sep 2006 22:30 GMT3
With Sabrina's arrival the normal routine of her four siblings was quite
thrown out of whack. But it's not such a bad thing, really. Brandy might be
shy about getting into bed with us because of Sabrina's cussing, but what a
time I get with her in the morning! My chubby Brandy-Candy ...

TW: and OT but worth watching17 Sep 2006 21:26 GMT1
I think this is such a beautiful tribute. What a love. This is a
testiment to how much a part of a family our pets are. It's long and
it's about a d*g but it is so loving and beautiful I think it is should
be seen.
population explosion17 Sep 2006 21:00 GMT9
So I had to take my mind off Willie, and Quinn's.  Quinn was so
mournful-looking, staring out in the yard and paws on the windowsill,
looking for Willie running around the railing.  So we went by the Humane
Society, and I chose Bosco - an affectionate little black cat, and Harry
Rescued Ferals, Why do moms abandon kittens17 Sep 2006 19:18 GMT2
These kittens are pretty cute... the first was rescued as a feral
because it got too sick to run away. The Vet wanted to kill it, but it
was saved anyway. The second was abandoned by its mom. Maybe cats are
learning from people...the bad things that people do, anyway.
Holiday card list17 Sep 2006 14:43 GMT28
It is almost September 1 which means I should be working on the holiday
card list if you would like for me to do it again this year. I'm more
than willing to do it. I don't think there were any problems last year,
but if you'd rather someone else do it just let me know.
Kitty FC has decided..17 Sep 2006 10:26 GMT49
That she no longer likes her renal food.  Which is brilliant because I just
bought 48 pouches from the vet for her at an enormous cost on Friday!!
<sigh>
She's fed up with it, I think.  She preferred to hoover up Boyfie's pouch of
Mischief / Kristie thanks17 Sep 2006 06:56 GMT4
Thanks to Mischief posting the (funny) pics of Mohican Kitty, I was
prompted to remind my father to get Potjie/Jet shaved for summer.  He
kept his belly-full of fur for the colder weather, but now that it is
spring and starting to warm up, Potjie needs his air-conditioning put
Vet Tech Journals: First day..17 Sep 2006 06:43 GMT44
Well just got back from my first day at the new clinic, and i think i'm
going to have a fun time there.
I got my schedule and i'm getting along great with everyone.    I
helped out with mainly simple things,  getting blood, putting the

I think this one is a kindred spirit of Dante.
