I need some advil for my feet.......
I arrive. clock in and start helping with the morning chores.  Turn on
the machines, turn on the oxygen, (say hello to the bitty), and start
cleaning and getting ready (and waiting for the morning coffee to brew)

When precious Lily (a.k.a. Lily-pad) really wants attention, she will crawl
so stealthily into your lap that you almost don't notice she is even there,
and then she will start licking your hand. If you pet her with the other
hand, she will continue licking, and every few seconds ...

I finally got someone to deliver my sofa, and guess who took possession of
it first!!
He might be going for alpha-male-of-the-house status....

My 80 year old uncle just had heart valve replacement surgery and with other
health problems is not doing good. All his children have been here from
other states to see him.

My mother-in-law's two cats do this. It started
because she generally blocks off the doors to the
living room when the Christmas tree is up, so they
can't knock off the ornaments and climb the tree.

I dreamed the roof of my house was burning. The fire was extinguished in
time to save the house but it was an experience fraught with terror, both my
own and the cats'. In the end, I got a whole new roof paid for by insurance.
