Warning: Cat Vent!28 Sep 2006 15:22 GMT19
Okay, I've always been the one to feed the cats, take care of the cats,
etc., because I'm the one who's home.
My husband started feeding them wet food.  We figured they were old enough
now, at 2 years, let's supplement their diet, right?  He's become their
Vet Tech Journals: Kitten drama.....28 Sep 2006 05:44 GMT1
Sorry if this is a second posting...
I get into work yesterday to find out that the co-worker that was going
to take the FELV kitten home was getting cold feet or something.  Oh
great.....

Roxie and Brandy have to get an oral rinse every month which, judging from
the reaction, is completely vile. We have this little narrow nozzle we screw
on the the squeeze jar, and when it's squirt time it is always an adventure
running for both the little Lady and the little Juvie.
Yet MORE Abelard news!28 Sep 2006 02:20 GMT3
For the first time in his life he's PLAYING WITH ELI.
I can NOT believe my eyes....
Cat Charmers are from Satan!28 Sep 2006 02:13 GMT5
We went to Maine to visit friends of ours.  We save on shipping by
trading birthday presents with everyone when we arrive in town, instead
of mailing on all the separate birthdays.  This is Amy's cat Caligo,
and his present was his very first Cat Charmer.

Boyfriend usually appears within a few minutes of me getting home from work,
no matter where he is he hears me arrive.
Then he gets his supper and he is usually hungry for it.
It is now nearly 8 pm and he isn't here.  I haven't seen him since this

Pyramid Bed Again27 Sep 2006 18:56 GMT2
Last night I was watching TV.  I watched Persia get up and saunter into my
bedroom where her Drinkwell fountain is.  Watched her come back out and head
towards her food bowl in the kitchen, even though at that time of night
there's no food in it :)  A while later I wondered where ...
A frog worth its cost27 Sep 2006 12:04 GMT10
A small item I acquired at the recent auction where I got my lovely sofa for
$20 is a hollow ceramic frog. I liked his looks, and I like real frogs a
lot, but I wouldn't have bid on this frog without a better reason. I bought
the frog in hopes of ending Tommy's habit of splashing ...
A morning monologue LONG27 Sep 2006 10:45 GMT10
OOOF - Good morning Clabby. Ow, do you have to use your claws when you
knead me? Oh, OK. Knead knead, purr, purr <yes, I say this aloud>. Ow,
ow, just move that paw a little bit. OK <zzzzzz> Aw, are you leaving
already? STOP SCRATCHING THE DOOR!
Kitty scared me!27 Sep 2006 10:31 GMT19
She didn't seem keen for her breakfast this morning.  Instead of being
encouraged upstairs by me waving a pouch in front her - so she can eat it
alone - I had to carry her upstairs.
She refused her food.  Totally.
Abelard dials up27 Sep 2006 10:31 GMT11
While I was in the kitchen washing dishes a few minutes ago, I heard the
modem speaker in the next room. Abelard had decided to connect to the
internet. He was on my desk in front of the computer when I came into the
room to see who was using the computer. Wondering what that cat ...
Piccies!!!27 Sep 2006 09:48 GMT8
I took off today - yesterday was my first day working without my arm brace**
and my arm is swollen to twice its size and throbbing, so I just couldn't
stand another day of pounding the keyboard.  I have to leave the brace off
so I don't get any more atrophy in my arm (you ...
I don't believe it!27 Sep 2006 05:30 GMT16
Harry disappeared Wednesday afternoon and the clowder has been grounded
day as well as night since, to the detriment of my ears.  I became
paranoid after Willie's disppearance, and innocent old Har-rie during
the day was just too much.  Well, just now for the umpteenth time in the
