| Now I have to say something nice. | 22 Aug 2006 02:08 GMT | 3 |
Well, I feel bad for trashing UPS now even though I'm still mad about the lost cat food. Poor Bootsie is sitting in the window. I'm sure she is watching for the UPS truck. I should tell them that. So now I'm gonna say something nice about someone. I'm still working on

About curing Kitty's recent toilet habits? It was all going so well with the new litterbox. When I got home from work I went upstairs to the bathroom where I knew I had left my fleece sweater over the side of the bath (my house is cold and I needed to put it on) and found it ...

| My Life, by Spotty (long) | 21 Aug 2006 22:44 GMT | 9 |
Hoomin Note: It's been over a year now since I first let a very skinny little spotted momma cat and her four bitties in out of the rain. Sooo... guess it's about time to sit down and let her tell her story, as I've done before with Little Bit, Sammy, and Rocky (RB)

| Truck woes (Long and Totally Off Topic) | 21 Aug 2006 21:59 GMT | 24 |
Let me tell you a little a story about my last pizza delivery tonight. I pulled out of the parking lot, turning north towards Fort Sill. I needed to turn again onto a 4 lane about 100 yards after leaving the parking lot. Suddenly the left front end did a nose dive. I'm looking

| Citrus cat litter fiasco | 21 Aug 2006 20:10 GMT | 9 |
I've been trying to figure out where a sickly sweet odor of rotting fruit was coming from in the bedroom. I've lived with it for three nights because I just couldn't find the source, even though it was making me queasy. I've asked DH to help me locate the problem for two

| Poor Kasper | 21 Aug 2006 20:09 GMT | 18 |
Miranda's half-uncle Kasper had a bump behind one ear. The vet removed the lump and they are awaiting result from a biopsy. They had to put in two stitches and Kasper has to wear a collar, though it's a very small one, just to protect his ear. Pictures of the poor pathetic ...

| Heart Purrs | 21 Aug 2006 20:02 GMT | 15 |
I took Jake to the vet this afternoon. Nothing specific seemed wrong with him, but he seemed to be losing weight and his coat doesn't look good. He's just not acting like himself. Good news is everything the vet can check out by looking and palpitating and

| A Cat's purr | 21 Aug 2006 15:49 GMT | 3 |
Isn't in very much like the human voice? When you talk, feel your own throat. It vibrates the same way that a cat's purr vibrates her throat. What is he trying to say? What words of wisdom does she have for us that we can't hear with our inept ears? They purr when they're

| Need Recipe | 21 Aug 2006 12:41 GMT | 8 |
I just found out a co-worker's grandson (6 months old) has cancer. Her daughter is, of course, distraught. I'd like to make her a card and bake some cookies to bring to work Monday. Does anybody (Jill?) have a good recipe (something with chocolate)?

| Stray Kitty Purrs Please! | 21 Aug 2006 12:41 GMT | 61 |
I have a stray cat quarantined here tonight. Long story, but the kitty has some obvious health issues and is quite thin. She has an appointment with TED tomorrow to evaluate just what is going on with her. She is a longhaired tuxedo girl and is a very sweet, affectionate

| Cruising: Uses for cat litter | 21 Aug 2006 02:20 GMT | 15 |
We are trying a new-to-us use for cat litter. A friend used it on his boat and said it worked for him. We are leaving Genesis for the winter and want to keep the moisture from building up inside. Our friend suggested filling a pan with a layer of cat
