Update on Sam24 Aug 2006 03:34 GMT6
He is beginning to recover from his cold. His thyroid tests came back normal
and the additional urinalysis came back normal.  We're going to wait three
weeks and repeat the liver enzymes.  Hopefully the stress of an URI caused
the increase in his liver enzymes and the weight loss ...
Imp is throwing up.....24 Aug 2006 02:48 GMT8
He's not throwing up food, it seems to be saliva.
I stepped in a tiny puddle of it on the floor of my room earlier
And 5 minutes ago i was on the phone with my dad and I heard him
horking.

Little Feet has always used various surfaces to make "bank shots" -
when he is zooming, he bounces off the bed to make a turn into the
hallway, while still maintaining his zoominess. I think he has taught
it to the other cats as well.

KFC goes to TED's23 Aug 2006 17:07 GMT26
I took Kitty to see the vet tonight to try and get to the bottom (ooh,
excuse the unintentional pun) of her inappropriate elimination issues. It is
not just peeing, there has been the occasional packet over the last few
months too.
Please rev those purr motors... :o)23 Aug 2006 16:05 GMT11
Hate to ask this, but please could I have some good luck purrs for a
personal issue that I am trying to resolve? If it goes the way I want it
to, then I will be ecstatically happy, but the usual insecurities and
fears of rejection are wandering in and out of my psyche.
Did Not Mean to Spam your group23 Aug 2006 13:41 GMT3
As a pet owner a vacation away from my four-legged family members is
not a vacation at all. I am not trying to advertise for money. The
cabin is renting well but as many of you know it is not a good
investment. We are lucky to break even. It was no time at all we
Ooops!23 Aug 2006 13:06 GMT8
I thought I'd give the furry pair a treat yesterday, and got out some frozen
chicken slices. I put them in a bowl on the counter to defrost for supper
later.
Hubby and I went out for the evening (unusual for us), and I forgot to close
Licky Granuloma - change to Hill's z/d, d/d or IVD Limited?23 Aug 2006 10:32 GMT38
As many of you know (and some have similar problems), my cat and I have
been battling her "licky granuloma" on her right hind leg for several years
now.  I've gone from several depo medrol shot at the beginning to treating
her with 2.5 - 5 mg/day of Prednisolone with Tresaderm or ...

In the slow process of integrating our newest little girl, some of our
babies have gotten awfully impatient to get to know her.
Stosh has a job of great responsibility. He must guard the house and
make his rounds in every room to make sure the place is safe from
And so we go on...23 Aug 2006 04:23 GMT6
One day at a time.
Sabrina gets by the most minute of degrees bolder as we leave the gate
off the door. She'll come sniffing about or even venture out a bit, but
invariably will come across another of the girls; then she'll mutter
RANT!!! UPS Cat Food Snafu23 Aug 2006 04:01 GMT8
Arrrggghh.
I ordered a variety of cat food from Pet Food Direct. Supposed to be
delivered Friday, but did not come. Long story short, the UPS man put
it one *someone's* porch. I have no idea whose. Apparently he doesn't
Purr request for my elderly mother.23 Aug 2006 03:46 GMT21
My 84 YO mother is going to have a cardiac pacemaker implanted, and some 'minor'
cardiac surgery performed on Wednesday.
She's very, very smart, and mentally, better off than I am, I often think. For
example, she helps me with my income taxes, and virtually never forgets
Teusday August 2223 Aug 2006 03:43 GMT11
Is the day that we will celebrate Sir Weeble Wobblybottom's *THIRD*
birthday!!!!!
I can't believe that teeny-tiny li'l black fuzz has grown up into Mommy's
bunny-soft, shiney-black handsome li'l man-cat!
Swollen glands -- neck area23 Aug 2006 03:17 GMT23
Just wondered if anyone else has had a cat with swollen glands (or lymph
nodes) in the neck area. Sweeter's glands on either side, right under
the end of the jaw bone, are huge. We've had her on antibiotics but
they've gotten bigger. We're waiting for test results to see if this ...
