| Talking to your kitty | 14 Aug 2006 22:27 GMT | 56 |
All of us have babytalked to our cats, but do any of you talk to your cats even when they're not around? When I had Betty, I would talk to her, and sing to her, and dance with her, but I would continue even when I wasn't talking to her directly.

I've been asking my DH to pick one up forever and since we were out and about yesterday we got one! Wow, Miss Pua will sit there literally for hours letting me brush her. She loves the thing and it's great at getting out her loose hair. She's a big shedder. Tyrone likes it, too, ...

| I'm back... | 14 Aug 2006 04:10 GMT | 7 |
I'm back after a very exhausting and very emotionally (on a very personal level) draining 2 weeks. I don't think I have ever been so glad to see my fur-monsters in my life, nor they me. They have not left me alone. Quite depressingly, my mind is now far more cluttered emotionally

I missed the Caliversary. It was one year ago on the 8th that the little stripey boy was brought to me by his fosterer. Here he is on his first day, exploring his new home: http://community.webshots.com/photo/369334917/1416925272058511339zsGDhu

I just got back from an organizational meeting for a fundraiser we're having in October. It's kind of a "Bark in the Park" event, where people get pledges, then walk their dogs around a track, etc. etc. There will be other things going on like games, free microchipping,

We are going on holiday for a few days, away tomorrow back on Friday, it has been very hectic here getting everything ready for my pussie cats, apart from going away last year for three weeks when I had my SIL living in the house to take care of the furkids I have never been away ...

Last night, we were all sound asleep. Or I *thought* we were all asleep. Dulce Mae was suggled up at my feet, her paws gripping the corner of the bed. Senyah was slightly dozing, and softly snoring. I was out

Nancy was just leaving the house for work and saw Mr. Scruffy lieing by the side of the road - looks like he had been hit by a car. She's rushing him to the vet around the corner now.

| Don't LOOK at me!!!!!! | 13 Aug 2006 01:47 GMT | 48 |
Anyone who has a cat that DEMANDS privacy at the litter box? Imp freezes if he's by the litter box and I walk by. "OH NO!!! She's SPOTTED ME!!!" and will run away. Hell, once i went into the kitchen, where the domed litter box is, and
