Goodbye Baby Girl16 Aug 2006 07:18 GMT45
Our sweet Selena crossed the Bridge this morning. I don't know why and my

morning around 3 a.m. I found her as I was about to make the bed. I want to
have her body cremated so we're waiting until the vet ...

The Purina Diet16 Aug 2006 02:15 GMT11
I have a couple of  Labrador retriever (3) & I was buying a large bag
of Purina at  Wal-Mart and was in line to check out.  A woman behind me
asked if I had a  dog. On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting
The Purina Diet again,  although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended

Amber's bald spot16 Aug 2006 01:07 GMT1
I noticed yesterday a bald spot on Amber's left side. It's about the
size of a quarter. I suspect that Tiger pulled out some hair. It's not

Scouty's Dandruff - follow up15 Aug 2006 13:15 GMT3
I don't think Scouty's 'dandruff' actually came from her at all! She
wasn't showing any signs of distress or unhealth or scratching at
herself... but the telltale is that now I've swept all the floors and
cleaned up the apartment, and groomed her thoroughly, and her
Silver is a very strange cat...15 Aug 2006 12:24 GMT20
We bought a pizza and some spicy chicken nuggets for dinner last night
and I was just eating the leftover chicken. Silver the vulture jumped
up and stared at me like she does whenever I have some kind of protein
in my hand, and I told her she wouldn't like it... evidently she

Smokey attacked my face15 Aug 2006 09:00 GMT27
Smokey Poke may be a cat, but he is in the doghouse today.
Dylan had to be at work at 5:30 am.  I needed the car to go to the
library, do research, then get to work by noon.  So after dropping
Dylan off, I went back to bed for two hours.
What's with Sabrina?15 Aug 2006 07:01 GMT12
Louie and I have been spoiled: our first integrations were successful.
There hasn't been any fighting. Our first four are friendly and want to
meet the newcomer. No one has even said a cussword. But Sabrina is
terrified! I think we've gotten ourselves and agoraphobic cat!
Silver just pulled a Bastard Cat Trick!15 Aug 2006 05:14 GMT3
She was lying on top of the scanner and then she started fidgeting
uncomfortably... I looked over and saw that she had somehow managed to
get a paw hooked onto the ventillation grid on the side of my
computer. She squirmed some more and her poor toe was being pulled
Not really OT - Baby Seal Hunts in Canada15 Aug 2006 03:38 GMT16
A lot of you are aware of the much-publicized seal-hunts that take place in
Canada on a yearly basis.
Well, HSUS had a 'poster' contest to help make people even more aware of
this plight.
