Sherry, I was hoping for an update today!
How is she doing? Is she acting much more friendly without the sticker
and eating like a pig?

A positive story about my father19 Aug 2006 13:56 GMT1
When I was about 16 years old there was a little girl who lived down the
street.  She was in advanced stages of leuikemia and wanted to go fishing.
She wore a kercheif; she didn't have any hair due to radiation treatments.
Dad took her and her father fishing in his boat.  She caught ...
Fake Cat Paw: On order19 Aug 2006 11:24 GMT11
Well, I couldn't resist this silly toy, so I went looking around for a
place to buy it. There are NO places in my part of the worl that carry
it. It is made by Bandai, and is called the Neko-Nyanbou.
So I checked the Bandai site to find out what the heck it was called.
Who Shut the Closet Door?19 Aug 2006 07:30 GMT14
I never shut the door to the closet in this room (my office).  It's always
ajar at least 5 inches.  That closet is Persia's hidey-hole and nap spot.
She loves to snooze on the plush rolled-up comforter in this closet.  She
disappeared for a few hours so I assumed she was napping on ...
Coming home was sad19 Aug 2006 05:40 GMT9
First let me say, thank you. Thank you to all of you wonderful people who
shared in my sorrow this past weekend.
Marina, it pleases me to know that Selena almost shared a birthday with
Nikki. Thank you Pat, Lois, and Bev.  Ginger-lyn, I will be calling you

Another b*st*rd cat trick19 Aug 2006 04:47 GMT5
I got a lot of giggles over the ones posted over the last week.  I
have to share one.  Today I came home and when I walked in, I saw
something shredded at the top of the stairs.  It was a roll of toilet
paper. Hmmm, that's new, I thought. Brought in the rest of the
A Tuxie "must see"19 Aug 2006 04:34 GMT3
This little girl has been in the shelter since 2000.  That is at
least 6 years.  I can't imagine that.  At least she's in a foster
home.  Ok peeps, if you had a foster for 6 years, wouldn't you be
calling her "yours" by now?  ;)
What is she doing?19 Aug 2006 03:15 GMT3
Last night I was washing up for bed and as DH  was not home I left the
bathroom door open. Sam and Abby were laying outside the door watching me. I
looked at them and wondered what they must be thinking.
Sam: What is she doing now?
Chicken Invasion19 Aug 2006 02:58 GMT4
The Touchstone Kitty Cafe has recently been invaded by chickens - yes
chickens. I mentioned a while back that Sammy spotted a rooster
through the window, and was fascinated at the BIG bird. There have
been no rooster sightings for quite a while - I think the owner
Talk about B*st*rd Cat tricks!!!19 Aug 2006 02:04 GMT4
Last night I caught Abelard getting ready to use a stray plastic bag as a
sandbox (he was actually digging at it!) and moved him to the litterbox,
which of course he climbed right back out of. We stayed in the bathroom
together for quite a while doing this dance. Finally I just ...
I am so proud of Kitty Farmcat18 Aug 2006 19:55 GMT24
There have been no more accidents, she is using her new litterbox in the
bathroom that I really should have understood that she needed before now.
An hour ago she raced upstairs to use it,  Yes, she ran very fast despite
the fact that she could have just gone outside the open door ...
Silver and Tessie - printer monitors extraordinaire18 Aug 2006 16:41 GMT7
Silver and Tessie have discovered they share a joint fascination -
with the printer and scanner. Every time I turn either of them on they
jump up, run to the craftroom, and jump up on the desk to supervise
operations. It can be a little hard when one of them jumps onto the
