Little Boy was out all night31 Aug 2006 21:03 GMT5
Yesterday evening, Little Boy ran out the door. He does this
sometimes, and usually goes around the building and lounges on the
stairs to the second floor. Eventually.
The few times he has done this, I always find him on the steps by
If she turns green I'm leaving the room31 Aug 2006 20:35 GMT11
A month or so back I brought a new brush. It wasn't a cheap one either.
Now Sarrasine just loves brushies so normally I put it away because if
it gets left out, she'll bring it to me and demand more and more
brushies -I don't think it is possible to over brush that feline! Well
Another birthday for Yoda31 Aug 2006 13:16 GMT14
Happy Birthday, Yo-Man. He's fourteen now.
I'm a terrible meowmie. I completely forgot it was his birthday until a
dear friend e-mailed me and reminded me!
He's celebrating by sleeping on the couch.

Chair wars31 Aug 2006 05:42 GMT6
Yesterday I wrote about Nanki-Poo adopting my "new" (100 years old) rocking
chair.  He continued to claim it yesterday evening.  For a while, he slept
on the floor, against one of the rockers, as though he were guarding the
chair.  He finished the evening back in the chair.
A water obsession31 Aug 2006 05:06 GMT1

Best toy ever31 Aug 2006 02:58 GMT6
We have given Cleo Carrington Smith many toys over the years,
like lifelike mice, jingle balls, catnip socks (she has no reaction to
catnip at all) and the rest.
She doesn't normally play a lot, although she has never lost
The Toonces Project30 Aug 2006 23:43 GMT3
I'd like to post this because I think we all DO assume our veterinarians are
always practicing with high standards and qualified staff, but we need to
remember to ask. Ask where the vet techs were trained, ask any questions you
deem necessary to assure that a vet establishment is ...
Hemingway home is the cat's meow30 Aug 2006 17:39 GMT4
By JESSICA GRESKO, Associated Press Writer
The many cats that roam the grounds of the Ernest Hemingway home include
Ivan, Frances and Charley - all kittens born during the destructive
hurricane season of 2004.
Ok, fess up, who does this?30 Aug 2006 13:25 GMT6
Who likes to rub the fur the wrong way on the top of your kitties
head so it stands up in little spikes?
When I do this:
Scarlett looks like a fuzzy kitten.
The Chair (Sort of OT, but it gets there)30 Aug 2006 07:25 GMT10
My 94-year-old mother moved into a long-term care facility a few months ago.
She realizes she needs the help, and is very contented to stay there for the
rest of her life.  My sister, who lives near where she is in Alaska, has
been helping her dispose of things she doesn't have ...
Mommy, what happened???30 Aug 2006 03:49 GMT2
Well the roomie moved the bulk of her stuff out today.  All her big
furniture items are now gone.  What is left can easily be taken in a
few carloads.
She's still welcome to stay here every now and then and in fact i told
Need advice30 Aug 2006 03:31 GMT7
We've had an increase in the spats between Smokey and Mistletoe.  It
used to be one every 3-4 weeks and now is increasing to once per week or
so.  As yet, there's been no blood drawn, but when they get into it, it
sounds like mortal combat with the winner about to dine on the ...
I could use some advice30 Aug 2006 03:13 GMT7
I am probably going to invite a third cat into my home.  He has been
boarded since March, and now his people say to send him to the shelter!
He is 14 or 15, and apparently is a lovebug.  I have one boss cat [19
pounds!] who is also a lovebug, but still boss to the other cat.  Boss ...
Jake, Molly and Kayla (or cats are easier than dogs)29 Aug 2006 23:36 GMT2
Jake seems to be feeling better with his heart medicine.  He is so easy to
pill that I have to be careful not to forget to pill him.
Molly is just Molly.  She has seemed more affectionate the past week or so.
At least comes close enough for scritches if not all the way on my lap.
