Purrs to all those in need. I have been away to Spain for a week and have just had to clear everything in one go. For a change it is only marginally cooler in the UK! sandra

| Special A/C for cats! | 21 Jul 2006 08:12 GMT | 8 |
Got this idea from discussion in recent thread.... I put 4 plastic gallon jugs filled with water into the freezer last night. Today they stand two at a time on a towel in front of a floor fan, and in front of that is a whole bunch of flat cats.

| "Murder Most Feline" - who is next? | 20 Jul 2006 17:46 GMT | 4 |
Yes, I've had the books much longer than planned- I do apologize for that. They've circulated through my family and friends and been well-read. So, who wants the books next? Whoever gets back to me first gets them. I can get them shipped out on Friday.

| cat odor removal | 20 Jul 2006 15:12 GMT | 10 |
Would anyone have a recommendation for a product that has worked for them? I can't smell the odor on the cushion, but a visitor did. Ones I've heard of were Urine-gone and Petasket [?].

| Oscar's doing well | 20 Jul 2006 12:30 GMT | 9 |
We've tried her without the e collar since yesterday. She seems good; not licking at the paw excessively, and when we pick her up to take a look at her paw, the pads and fur around them are always dry, so she must not be licking it very often.

| Litter ?? | 20 Jul 2006 05:37 GMT | 20 |
I've been using the Fresh Step and altho I like it, now that there are 3 in the house (Rex, Loki & Loki's maMA) I've decided to switch to the Tidy Cat for Multiple Cats. There was some discussion awhile back about the difference between plain

| Lily made it after all | 20 Jul 2006 03:37 GMT | 29 |
How about some good news? Lily the kitty did indeed survive her swollen paw and was adopted. The nice lady at the shelter took a moment to correct her earlier assumption;

| Reminded of other Otis destruction | 20 Jul 2006 01:37 GMT | 6 |
Last night, the kids and Fred slept outside in the backyard in tents. I remembered that Otis was not allowed outside at all while the tents were up since last time he did some serious damage. He walked up to the $400 North Face tent while the fly was off drying, and ripped holes ...

| Farewell to Sandy | 20 Jul 2006 00:32 GMT | 21 |
Our dog, Sandy, spent three days in the vet hospital this week. Her CRF caught up with her. She was kept on IV fluid as she couldn't eat. Her test results were horrendous. Vet was grim, could do no more for her. It was time to let her go.

| AAARRRGH! Massive purr failure! | 20 Jul 2006 00:23 GMT | 21 |
Well, the unspecified purr failure made for an interesting day today. Or maybe it's because Friday the 13th came a day early this month (big grin). Or maybe the purrs just got me out of what I had so I can get something much better.

| Boxing the Box | 19 Jul 2006 22:37 GMT | 10 |
I set out a fairly good sized box that my bodhran came in with intentions of taking it out to the trash. Persia has, of course, jumped into the box. But mostly she's just "boxing" the flaps on the side like a boxer would practice on one of those speed-bags. I hear ...

| Bathing Buster | 19 Jul 2006 22:34 GMT | 5 |
We are having lots of trouble with fleas. It's a constant battle. And Buster is especially sensitive. So a little while ago, I gave him a flea bath. He struggled, but I kept those fish hook claws away from all my poor tender parts.
