Buster has apparently decided to go on walkabout.
A couple of days ago, he insisted on going outside. As soon as I
opened the door, he rushed off, to points west. We haven't seen him
since then.

RIP Scaredycat27 Jul 2006 17:27 GMT37
My beautiful Scaredycat died today.
She'd seemed much better in herself lately & had responded well to her
thyroid meds, but last night lost the use of her back leg.  Took her to
the vet today and it was grim news - inflamed kidney, dehydration,
Not totally OT: gardening help27 Jul 2006 11:38 GMT33
I know virtually nothing about gardening and now I have a little garden
and don't just want to watch it turn into a jungle (though I like it to
be a little wild-looking). I would like to plant some kind of vine or
creeper that could climb onto the walls of the enclosure. Can ...
Wish us luck......27 Jul 2006 09:18 GMT21
Tiger had to go to the emergency vet tonight as he has been unwell
again. He's on the mend now, but has quite a number of mouth ulcers
which is stopping his from having a good appetite....
Anyway, Tiger aside (he's OK) whilst we were there, as the practice is

From island cats to city cats26 Jul 2006 23:34 GMT32
We're back! The cats are exhausted from the trip and have been sleeping
for hours (after they'd checked that everything was in its place here at
home). I'm pretty knackered myself, but here are some pictures to start
with. I'll write more about our time on the island after I've ...
Island stories: Ashes26 Jul 2006 22:40 GMT16
I have 4200+ messages to catch up on; purrs to all in need. I'll post a
few pieces I wrote while out on the island:
The morning after I'd arrived at the island, I took Frank's ashes and
set ut for the rosebush where I'd scattered Nikki's ashes last summer.
Tales from the Mouser: Island Shore Leave Part V26 Jul 2006 22:37 GMT7
I went up to my parents house this weekend to celebrate our summer
birthdays and to see my new baby niece, Jocelyn who was born in May.
My parents have shown the usual concern about my weight but so far are
being nice about it.  *crosses fingers*
Gertie ferret is coming home tomorrow!26 Jul 2006 18:10 GMT33
Well, it seems little Miss stray ferret is a girl of about 3 months old.
I went to the vets this evening to drop off some forms, and check on the
status of the stray ferret.
She was checked by the vet, she is in perfect health apart from being in
RPCA Guest Map26 Jul 2006 13:21 GMT23
I was just looking at the RPCA Guest Map and noticed Britta's marker is
still in Thailand. Does anyone else look at it these days?

Spotted this cat tree whilst browsing, I have not used this website so I

someone might be interested.

Surprise! Baby Eyes' skin is healed!26 Jul 2006 05:37 GMT2
I started giving her prednisone (5mg) once a day, on a hunch, and as of
today, the 4th day of treatment, her skin is completely healed. So I guess
it wasn't a flea allergy after all. I couldn't imagine that it was,
especially when it worsened right after Frontlining everyone.
