Vet Tech Journals: The new place29 Jul 2006 06:33 GMT2
Hey folks,
I know it's been over a month in my last entry, but I'd thought i'd
take the time to make a few.
First let me tell you about the place I currently work at.  First of
Making Enquiries29 Jul 2006 05:30 GMT2
I have heard via the work grapevine of a cat that needs a home - turned up
unclaimed, SPCA, vet etc have no record of a lost one answering the
description, and the local residents are all either allergic, or already
have cats who aren't dealing well with the intruder.
Purrs for Destiny please29 Jul 2006 03:46 GMT21
We are asking for purrs for a missing 5 year old girl.  Destiny Norton
disappeared from her home in Salt Lake City last Sunday night.  A major
search is and has been underway.  If your fur kids could send some purrs
for a little bare kid, it would be much appreciated.   The ...
I'm back!!!28 Jul 2006 21:49 GMT12
First off purrs to all who need them, and sorry I wasn't around for so
long. RL has been interfering with my group reading, and I'm about a
month behind. Over 5,000 messages even after brutally trimming out all
marked OT, which I of hated doing since a lot of the flavor of the

I've been mixing in some Iams into his prescription s/d food.  He's
eating a bit more of it, but still not enough.  However, he seems to eat
a little bit more each day, so that's encouraging.  He also eats quite a
bit of the s/d kibble.  At this point any food he takes in is good ...

Island stories: Double ambush28 Jul 2006 21:09 GMT9
When Miranda's biological brother Emil

arrived on the island, the terrible two gradually became the terrible
threesome. Caliban met Emil first. He hissed a bit. Emil flopped down on
aww, Oscar's such a good girl28 Jul 2006 19:49 GMT6
Oscar's paw is doing much better, and she doesn't mess with it much,
but there's still a little spot that looks injured, and so every now
and then I want to take a look at it.  This means that Oscar, who only
likes to be touched on her terms, gets picked up and held belly-up
So who's doing the cooking?28 Jul 2006 19:00 GMT4
Last night I stopped at the grocery store and picked up some ground beef,
spaghetti, and spaghetti sauce. I was really tired when I got home and
didn't put anything away but the beef.
This morning when I got out of bed I went into the kitchen to feed the

Island stories: Morning rituals28 Jul 2006 02:49 GMT14
Early every morning, I always go for a skinny dip on the island. It's
something my family has always done, though these days, it's mostly Mum,
my eldest sister and I who follow this tradition.
When Frank and Nikki were alive, they would follow me to the jetty each
Purrs for Sabrina28 Jul 2006 00:54 GMT17
Louie and I are going out on a Sabrina hunt tonight.
Sabrina was put out by a jacquesass of my and Louie's acquaintance,
simply because he got bored with her and started saying some crazy stuff
to justify it, like the cat was all the time trying to beat the hell out
Is anyone out there????27 Jul 2006 23:56 GMT37
I've seen no new messages in RPCA for 24 hours. Other NGs are updating fine.
Help! I need my daily fix of RPCA or I'll go mad!

Dental purrs for HRFL?27 Jul 2006 23:11 GMT12
Please could HRFL have some dental purrs? Following the excitement of
the last few weeks with his on/off health, TED has decided to give him a
major dental today as he found a tooth abcess on Friday.
Some purrs for a successful outcome would be very much appreciated.
SHE'S HOME!27 Jul 2006 21:33 GMT27
Looking a bit scruffy and covered in cobwebs, it seems that she was
helping my next door but one neighbour, Owen, clear out his shed on
Sunday. He shut the door when he finished and forgot to check if she was
there because he thought he saw her come home.
