| Medical Test Purr Request | 06 Jul 2006 04:22 GMT | 34 |
I have to go tomorrow morning for my "barium swallow" test (does anyone here know what that is and what I should expect?) and would appreciate some purrs to help me cope with the ordeal. Also, I have an appointment with a temp agency in the afternoon (if I am feeling well enough ...

| The antibiotics are making him sick | 06 Jul 2006 04:03 GMT | 20 |
Poor Vino, it looks like the antibiotics are making him sick. This morning I got up to see that he had puked all over the living room. And there was some runny poop in the litterbox. So they are playing havoc on his tummy. He wouldn't eat any breakfast either.

| Cat pics from Germany | 05 Jul 2006 23:05 GMT | 8 |
My friend N would not be my friend if she didn't like cats. She only has two at the moment. The black one was dumped nearby so she took him in and gave him the snip. Here is a pic of him sleeping next to her bulldog.

| The big move yesterday... | 05 Jul 2006 22:53 GMT | 6 |
Hi Good Peeps... I had posted several weeks ago regarding moving my cats. Well, yesterday was their big day. My furniture and everything is here (except for a ton of my clothes I need to get still).

| Back from the vet with Vino | 05 Jul 2006 22:06 GMT | 15 |
Ugh, I don't know who's more poorly off, me or Vino! The vet shaved a patch of fur from around the wound on Vino's back. Poor bugger hasn't had much success at keeping a full coat of fur this past year, what with all the neck shaves to take blood for the tests for

| Vino's hurt :-( | 05 Jul 2006 21:51 GMT | 57 |
Strangest thing, I never noticed it last night because he was sleeping so cutely on the bed, I didn't dare disturb him. But this morning I noticed a big (nickel sized) hole in his fur on his back. He's got a sore, looks like a couple of small abrasions but I suppose it could ...

| Just in case.... | 05 Jul 2006 15:32 GMT | 1 |
I get overwhelmed by RL..... We're on the road again, we fly to Rochester, NY tomorrow morning and we're going to spend several days in Geneva, NY, in a castle no less. Then on Friday we'll go to Watkins Glen, NY for a race.

| Brown Recluse Update | 05 Jul 2006 12:33 GMT | 10 |
Caught one! Adult fiddleback and it's DEAD DEAD DEAD. Came from the least-used (ties, suits and tuxes) closet. The sticky traps are great. More sticky traps to go all over the house.

| Going to my Brother's House | 05 Jul 2006 12:02 GMT | 51 |
Yes, there is a cat related thing in here somewhere :) My father is hell-bent on buying my brother Scott's house for me, whether I like the house or not. So I asked Scott, can I come over and take some photos? He said sure, how about Tuesday, July 4th? Okey doke.

| Cleaning the wound | 05 Jul 2006 08:31 GMT | 40 |
Well, I'm glad to report that the wound cleaning this evening went fine. Just as it had yesterday at home. I wonder if it went so badly for me at the vet's because I was standing up? Or if it was seeing her stick that instrument into the puncture?

| Check out the Google image today | 05 Jul 2006 08:23 GMT | 7 |
I love it! Kitties with flags and sparklers. Now why they'd choose cats, I don't know, but it's still cute. www.google.com

| Double dose | 05 Jul 2006 07:58 GMT | 6 |
Poor kitties. Someone is already playing around with fire crackers, and now a storm blew in. Literally blew in. So it's lightening and thundering (LOUD thunderboomers) and finally someone had sense to stop the fire crackers and go in where it's dry. LOL The temps just

| OK, Shadow-kitten the Beginning | 05 Jul 2006 04:54 GMT | 5 |
Alright, this is like MANY years ago. I had just gotten married. Was in an apartment that had a lease that didn't say anything about pets one way or the other. Realized most of the neighbors had cats. Asked crazy landlady who said the exterminators would kill it. Still, most of ...

| Visit to Ted | 05 Jul 2006 02:49 GMT | 15 |
Sesame was having a very nice sleep on my bed this afternoon when I picked her up, put her in the carrier and then out we went to the car. She was not impressed! I like to call it the Surpise Wake Up-Carrier Deployment maneuver.
