More Bitty Pics!!  (brace yourself)09 Jul 2006 20:58 GMT8
I really miss the bitties but at least i have the pics to remember them
by.
Here one i took with my camera phone of me leaning back in my chair and
the two little bitties were just snoozing on my chest and neck.  They
OK now it's official....09 Jul 2006 19:31 GMT22
Two weeks ago, my Lily presented me with her first ever hairball. She just
now gave me her 2nd one.
In both instances, she did not warble prior to horking it up, which means,
that awful noise is reserved for when her horking is due to nausea.
I just got the sweetest phone call09 Jul 2006 18:10 GMT21
I just got a call from a child, probably about 8 years old:
"Um, hi, um, my sister and me, we, um, saw some footprints, some
cat footprints, in our yard, and, um, we think it might have been
Smudge."
Vino update09 Jul 2006 17:29 GMT9
Dennis rode his bike to the vet while I was working today.  He visited
with Vino for 2 hours.  He's doing ok, still has the catheter in and is
draining into a bag.  He will be ok but is still pretty out of it.  He
hunkered down on a table with Dennis hugging and petting him.
Oscar's home09 Jul 2006 16:15 GMT32
Around 8:30pm, I went to say good night to Oscar at the clinic,
bringing freeze dried chicken treats with me on a hunch.
Oscar looked like a total zombie, but when I got there she made the
effort to move forward and rub her face on me.  I gave her a piece of
ShadowKitten-The Big String Episode-very long09 Jul 2006 14:26 GMT3
I warned you. It's long with some background.
Let's see --- Shadowkitten, myself and the Ex (not ex then) lived in a slum
rather poorly-owned by an alcoholic criminal (I have nothing against
alcoholics, just criminals).  At one point the criminal element became so
I'm back, more or less09 Jul 2006 13:02 GMT9
Well, I stayed away until I was able to deal with my feelings about some
of the postings of the group and think I can go back to ignoring them.
I'm probably going to lurk a bit at first though to make sure that I can
keep my opinions to myself for a while.
The Magic Word09 Jul 2006 07:08 GMT8
Apparently the word "can" has become synonymous with "Here, kitty" in this
household.
Baby Eyes is usually not fond of gooshy food, but every once in a great
while, she will partake. Today was one of those rare days.
Trimming/Shaving Thick Coat For Awful Georgia Summer09 Jul 2006 03:51 GMT1
My mixed breed long-hair, Beauty, is much better-off barbered,
especially in the 90+ degree
humidity.
It wasn't a bargain/cheap fur-cut; but the vet's assistant did a great

Back From Testing [OT]08 Jul 2006 23:00 GMT30
And it didn't go too well.  *SIGH*
First they had planned to just look at my stomach and upper intestines so
they did a "live" barium swallow x-ray.  I watched my insides along with the
radiologist and saw the liquid going down.  On this screen I saw all the
The Stinkysburgh Address08 Jul 2006 22:37 GMT12
My Mom had just settled in  bed last night, and was starting a little
pre-sleep reading, when Stinky came into her room, walked around the
bed , fixed her with a meaningful look, and said "MEOW  MEOW  MEOW
MEOW."  Then he picked himself back up, and went out again.  He had
Rosie has a forever home08 Jul 2006 22:20 GMT8
Rosie went off to her forever home on Friday. I made a follow up phone
call this evening and was told Rosie was fast asleep in bed with the
family's 7 year old daughter (seems like the hoomin training schedule
is going to plan). Some time between leaving me and arriving at her
Purr request08 Jul 2006 22:15 GMT19
Can I ask you all to send good thoughts, healing vibes and purrs to
the wife of one of my husbands friends.
June was diagnosed with 3 brain tumours (not thought to be malignant)

Can he understand me?08 Jul 2006 22:10 GMT11
It was about 6:30am this morning. Blacky and Merlin had been out
overnight and Merlin - after complaining about the food as usual -
made me open the door and let him out again.
I got ready to drive to work (no Independence Day here in Germany :-(
