Kili Update10 Jul 2006 09:25 GMT21
I got email from her this evening.  The pathology reports came back as
inconclusive.  They've sent the sample off to a university in Florida.  She
has an appointment with her surgeon next Monday and hopefully they will have
some conclusive information then.  Meanwhile, she's in pain ...
Kitten's RB Journey10 Jul 2006 06:39 GMT11
I just posted the other night that I haven't seen any casualties of
stray kitties on the busy road I live on. I should know better than
post/say something like that. Yesterday I was driving to work and had
driven only about 3 blocks from my house and found a very small black

So far I have caught three Brown Recluses.
More interesting: I have caught NOTHING ELSE.
Nasty little buggars. I have pictures.
Slow death on a sticky board serves them right.
Why cats are better than dogs.10 Jul 2006 06:10 GMT20
OK.  Has anyone's cat tried to kill them yet?
Kayla is still a pup and is still learning and trying new things every day.
She would like to play ball 24/7.  Or pretty close to it as far as I can
tell.  One of her goals in life is to figure out how to get me to spend more
Need some Purrs today for Charlie10 Jul 2006 05:27 GMT18
Right after Father's Day, Charlie broke of loosened a tooth.  The top right
eye tooth.  He cracked the tooth next to it about a year ago.  And he has
nerve damage on the other side of his jaw from years ago so has trouble
chewing on that side.

I ordered some more candles and a couple of other things.  When I got my
order confirmation, I noticed this at the bottom of the confirmation email:
"Portion of all sales donated for Homeless Animal Care."

Now I just need to figure out where it goes (in the bedroom,
somewhere) and how to convince DH.
Which Bitty Are You10 Jul 2006 03:08 GMT7
Kumani and Tyche wanted to write a quiz.
1.  If you lived under a tyrannical regime, you would:
A.  Press for your rights up to the point of risking your own safety
B.  Toady to the dictator and accept the rewards that come from doing
He's totally off his food09 Jul 2006 22:55 GMT29
Whatever was in those first antibiotics I gave Vino, they seem to have
made him really ill.  I got new antibiotics and got one dose into him
and he hasn't improved.  In fact, he's totally off his food now, won't
eat a thing.  Not ham, not kitty treats, not ground beef, nothing.  ...
Purr request update09 Jul 2006 22:49 GMT5
June is still in ICU, sedated and on a ventilator. The swelling in her
brain is going down but not enough for them to operate tomorrow, so it
will probably happen some time towards the end of next week.
Feeding delays start tomorrow.09 Jul 2006 22:47 GMT3
Tiger has to go to the vet for mat shaving  on Monday.  This means no
breakfast (anesthetic).  I'm sure he will know that something is amiss
and may try to hide.  To prepare him, I plan on not feeding at the usual
time starting tomorrow.  They usually get breakfast about 5:30 AM.  ...
Trout Pout.09 Jul 2006 22:47 GMT8
Lily has managed to get stung on the lip by something. It's all swollen
up and she looks like a collagen lipped porn queen with a trout pout.
Those Brits of you who know, she looks just like Lesley Ash did after
the infamous lip plumping episode.

They are so TINY!!!  each of them are the size of my foot, and i'm a

Boy, Are We in Trouble.09 Jul 2006 22:22 GMT40
DH ordered a new queen bee and it came in today's mail. They come in a
little cage about the size of a small matchbox, with 4 or 5 drones in
with her.
I opened up the package to give her a little water and just laid the
The bitties are gone!!! YAY!!!!!!09 Jul 2006 21:11 GMT5
I can't BELIEVE that Meowmie had the NERVE to bring in two absolutely
UGLY bitties!!!
It was repulsive.  They were wandering about and playing with MY
springy toy and on MY cube.  I don't care if I haven't played with it
