Just saw a news report of a building fire, explosion & then collapsing in Manhattan, between Park & Madison Ave's on 62nd St! Hope all NYC members are OK, and none of their loved ones (fur and bare) are affected by this!

Lots of fun antics this morning. First of all, the cat family are back in the neighborhood, having recovered from their spays and neutering, with no complications. The little boy slapped my hand and hissed, for all my trouble (big grin).

So the vet called and said that the xray showed that he's completely blocked (struvite crystals) and his bladder is very enlarged. I couldn't feel worse. I guess I should have noticed sooner but then again it was so weird how it all co-incided with the bite on his back,

I noticed a pee smell in the bathroom last night, but couldn't figure out where it was coming from; figured it was the litterbox. Just now I noticed that Oscar had apparently peed on the paper towels I'd put out around the litterbox.
