All Creatures Great and Small...19 Jul 2006 22:26 GMT10
We had been watching the Animal Planet channel's daily Backyard
Wildlife Habitat show and said "heck, why not?"  So we applied, were
accepted, and developed one.  I had no idea how much wildlife is out
there in our suburban residential area!!  We attracted several
Heat wave in US19 Jul 2006 21:52 GMT67
Everyone be careful in this heat. I saw on the weather report this morning
most of the U.S.A. will be having a heat wave. Here in Connecticut we are
expected to have temperatures 95 to 100 with high humidity.

We got the girls a present...19 Jul 2006 18:05 GMT7
The other night when I was changing the litterbox I broke it! I went
to tap the box on the bathroom counter to knock the stuck litter loose
because I didn't want to wash it out, and when it hit the counter the
corner shattered! I patched it up with a load of packing tape, and
Unemployment: some good things19 Jul 2006 14:47 GMT9
The commute is a lot shorter, traffic is lighter and fuel efficiency
is outstanding.
There is a much better stocked fridge - at least for now.
KITTIES! And they want to cuddle!
Vino update?19 Jul 2006 13:40 GMT21
Doesn't seem like we've heard in a while. Or did I miss it?

How do they KNOW?19 Jul 2006 04:32 GMT3
Yesterday when I was told to Resign Or Else, I posted a message which
remarked on the cats' behavior early in the morning: how Stosh was
extremely agitated, and the normally unflappable Brandy got so freaked
out she jumped and left her neatly clawed autograph on Louie's arse.
Otis attacks an Australian Shepard19 Jul 2006 00:39 GMT2
My sister was over dropping something off at our back door when we were not
home.  Otis was minding his own business in his fenced backyard and napping
on his six foot tall cat tower which we have placed under the overhang for
shade.  Because Otis was so high up and the dog was ...
Emergency Purrs Needed for Joanne's Cinamon18 Jul 2006 22:33 GMT30
Joanne's (my aide) cat Cinnamon was hit by a car this AM. She is devasted
which is very unJoanne. Her pelvis might be crushed. Please rev up the
purr motors for Cinnamon.

I recall you were envious that I won the Hill's Presciption Science Diet
free food for a year contest and Canada residents weren't eligible. (sorry
about that!)
I'd like to suggest this to you.  I wrote to Hill's on their website and
Huey got me back18 Jul 2006 16:08 GMT29
Mandy gave Huey a flea and tick bath yesterday that ended in an upset
cat and Mandy at the ER getting a cat bite taken care of.  No stitches
or shots to her relief, but antibiotics and thick bandages on her left
thumb for a while.
When A LION attacks......or......why you shouldn't keep a Lion as a pet !18 Jul 2006 12:07 GMT6
What happens when you step a full grown African Lion on his paw. Here
is a guy in Pakistan who found out and almost lost his life or limps.
That is why you shouldn't keep a Lion as a pet in the first place, as
this intense footage shows:
Our newest Fur-Baby needs a name!!!! PLEASE help!!!  :)18 Jul 2006 11:56 GMT16
Okay - we need to name our 4th fur-baby. He is a beautiful brown/black
tabby/siamese mix (maybe abysinian too) with gorgeous blue eyes and a
very unique patterning - the tabby patterning is only on his head and
one half of his body the other side is all white. He is already proving
Cleo at the vets18 Jul 2006 04:02 GMT14
Hi, I know that you are all just about  purred out with what has been going
on lately but could I ask for some purrs for our elderly cat Cleo (17 years
old)
I took her to see TED last Sunday as we felt she was having trouble going to
Kissakitten18 Jul 2006 01:16 GMT16
One of my nicknames for Little Boy is Kissakitten. And he's certainly
taken to it.
Whenever I hold him, or when he's at my eye level (like on top the
fridge), if I call him Kissakitten, he lunges his face at me,
