| Spooky lives! | 21 Jun 2006 04:00 GMT | 6 |
When I got home from work, Spooky was on the patio, alive, but not exactly well. He's weaker than he was, not eating much, and currently dozing on the bed in his usual spot. Oh, and Siegfried was outside screaming his little head off. My guess

| How to keep The Cat off of the furniture | 21 Jun 2006 03:27 GMT | 5 |
Pippin had taken to sleeping on my desk chair. I wouldn't mind, but 1) I'm tired of having to lint roll my butt everytime I sit down there, and 2) he's always in the chair when I want to sit. So... I dug out the plug-in heated fleece-lined deluxe kitty bed that DH

| The Flying Leap | 21 Jun 2006 03:26 GMT | 10 |
Little Boy is not a small cat. Little Boy is about two years old, and about the size of Lori's Sammy. Lately, Little Boy has taken to jumping up on the coffee table in front of the couch, then taking a flying leap to land in Senyah's lap,

| Smokey's Chipmunk | 20 Jun 2006 23:28 GMT | 6 |
Last night Smokey came in from the garage with a chipmunk in his mouth. Dennis tried to get him back in the garage so he could let it go but Smokey wasn't about to do that. He ran down in the basement with it and let it go. I went down and Smokey and Tippy had him cornered near ...

| Advice, please (OT) | 20 Jun 2006 19:29 GMT | 28 |
DH woke me this morning, to show me something. A big BLACK bunny in the driveway, near where we park our cars. Wild bunnies are *not* black! At least not in our area. He was able to walk close to it, and he stopped about 8 or so feet from it.

| Do they understand everything we say? | 20 Jun 2006 18:16 GMT | 5 |
I was stroking Redunzel last night and having a general grumble about recharging things. Seems only a few years ago I had a set of rechargeable batteries for the Walkman and that was that.."Now"! I says to Redunzel who is standing up getting her skritchies, "I've gotta

| Is it Twister, or is it dinnertime? | 20 Jun 2006 16:42 GMT | 4 |
A missed Kodak moment. Dinner time here consists of a kitty buffet. To keep canned food interesting for those who will eat it consistently, I feed a variety. Bonnie always has Wellness canned Turkey flavor because it's all she'll eat, but Scarlett and Shamrock

| Abstract thought in cats and dogs | 20 Jun 2006 02:48 GMT | 5 |
The independent AC repair guy out here is a fellow employee of a large, seminal semiconductor company that sold out to China a decade ago. I say that because we worked together in a factory where, for an instant, the product was perfect.

| I rocked her world | 20 Jun 2006 02:31 GMT | 12 |
Persia loves her crackle sak. But it was covered in cat fur. I tried vacuuming it but it just wasn't cutting it. And Persia is not a long-haired cat. She's what the vet calls a medium short-hair. So I put it in the washer. You'd think I'd transported it to another planet! She ...

| Recipe Request | 20 Jun 2006 01:25 GMT | 53 |
All I ever eat are "Lean Cuisine" meals (mostly because I'm too lazy to cook low-calorie, low-fat meals that taste good), and there is one, "Chicken Fettuccini With Caramelized Apples" that I buy almost exclusive for the Caramelized Apples. I'd love to be able to make those ...

| Ok, I let her out... | 20 Jun 2006 01:18 GMT | 10 |
....but only for some SUPERVISED outdoor time. Mischief has been crying at the door ever since she snuck out last week. "Mooo-OOOOOOOMMM!!! I wanna go OOOOOUUUUUTTTTT!!!!!" IT was so bad tonight and in an effort to satisfy her and shut her up,
