Bonnie and the Mouse27 Jun 2006 15:06 GMT6
Bonnie has been watching a cupboard in the kitchen for days.   I thought she
was having some of her 'connecting to the mothership' days until I saw the
mouse dropppings in the cupboard.   I hate mice coming in for the winter,
they have to be got rid of somehow and I have a hatred ...
Ping Victor - niece's camera27 Jun 2006 13:28 GMT3
I finally remembered to ask my niece about her camera. It's a Canon EOS
10D, and the lens is a Sigma DC 18-50mm 1:2.8 EX. She bitterly tells me
the camera went out of production right after she had bought it, and the
new Canon lenses don't fit this model. The newer model is 20D, ...
The handsome stranger 27 Jun 2006 07:33 GMT3
has been back on several occasions. This evening there was a clowder in my
garden. Francis, Marble, Kit Kat (from next door) and the handsome stranger.
Waffles was most put out by the fact *her* garden is being overrun by
boycats....
Bonnie - Attack Cat27 Jun 2006 06:06 GMT7
Bonnie has almost given up on the sink peeing but has a new vice - back
riding.   When she was a kitten it was
a cute trick - racing up a human's  back!!   In an adult cat, it is the
pits.
Migration Complete27 Jun 2006 03:24 GMT3
In the Seventeenth Century a large tribe of Central Asian nomads, their
name temporarily forgotton by me, left the area on the Russian steppes
that they had been inhabiting for a few centuries and went down into
western China, what we call Sinkiang, to aid their kin in a huge war.
Gooshy food for Tessie?27 Jun 2006 03:20 GMT4
We ran out of kitten kibble for Tessie and she's happy eating the
regular stuff so John said we should leave her on it and just let her
eat as much as she liked... only she was eating like a HORSE! I don't
think that diet hairball kibble has enough energy in it for an
Scoopaway formula changed?27 Jun 2006 02:36 GMT37
I buy 38 lb buckets of ScoopAway unscented litter.  Today I opened a
new bucket, and the litter seems to be a darker grey than I remember.
Not a big deal, and Oscar has already, er, stamped the new litter with
her approval, but I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this?
elderly cat yowling27 Jun 2006 01:18 GMT14
Casey has been yowling loudly for about 4 days and I took him to the
vets last night. They took blood, urine and his blood pressure and told
me today that he is normal. So, that leave a behavior problem. He is 11
and the vet said he could be getting senile but only an MRI could
Beautiful Neighbor Cats27 Jun 2006 00:29 GMT1
In my apartment complex, I keep meeting two rather beautiful neighbor
cats, at least one of which I believe is owned, although I've never met
his/her hoomin.  The first is a grey classic tabby who looks as if its
wearing opera gloves, as its forelegs are white half way up.  This ...
Harriet the Tortoise RIP-- Aged 17626 Jun 2006 23:17 GMT1
Harriet lived in the zoo in Brisbane, and died of a heart attack.  She
was a Galapagos tortoise, and was the oldest known living animal.
When she was hatched on Galapagos, William IV was still King of
England, and Andrew Jackson was President of the United States.
Purrs to all of you26 Jun 2006 23:10 GMT28
You guys are the best.  All of you.  Should I stop yet?  No, I don't think
so.  You are a fabulous group and I'm so proud to know you.
Thank you for your support.  It's so much better than in some "other"
groups.
Ping Kilikini26 Jun 2006 22:19 GMT62
I hope you don't mind, but I posted the email about your problem on
alt.support.cancer a group that has been great about giving me support
and information.  I'm hoping that they have some sort of idea that can
help you.  Have you tried medicaid?  If you don't receive Social
Abelard still sick, seeing TED today26 Jun 2006 18:17 GMT41
He vomited two more times yesterday, so we're off to see TED in about an
hour. Will post with update later. He's quit playing even though the weather
has cooled. Hopes are high.... I'm taking a poop sample with us.
Sad kitten video26 Jun 2006 17:41 GMT4
I've been thinking a lot lately, wondering what, if anything, makes
sense.
Among other things, I was touched by this video, about a kitten who
was part of someone's life for only a matter of days, but was loved
Nonchalant Little Boy26 Jun 2006 17:30 GMT4
The end table by the couch is also right next to the start of the
hallway. There is an old popcorn can (five pounds, three flavors kind
of popcorn) on top the end table.
Little Boy likes to sit on top of this can.
