| Smudge has a problem with her nose.... | 07 Jun 2006 15:38 GMT | 11 |
.....I was woken this morning by the feel of a tongue gently licking my feet. Once she had thoroughly washed both my feet she rested her head on them and gazed adoringly at me while purring her silly head off.....She *must* have something wrong with her nose....they're my

You have to sign up to do this but it's a simple process (be sure to pick an uncommon username and a complex password) and the test is funny. http://community.sparknotes.com/death/ My result:

| Sulking | 07 Jun 2006 12:57 GMT | 11 |
Dennis and I left at noon on Monday to go to Perth. Dennis' flight left at 7 am on Tuesday morning, so driving in that morning was not an option as it's a 3 hour drive. I got home this afternoon at 4, so was away for a total of 28 hours.

| Am I too strict? | 07 Jun 2006 09:33 GMT | 85 |
I made a tuna/asparagus/cheese pie topped with mashed potato today for my dinner tonight. Kitty sat on the arm of my chair begrudging me every mouthful. I told her to go and eat the food she'd already got in her bowl and didn't

| Dante: Good enough to eat? | 07 Jun 2006 04:32 GMT | 6 |
When I first got Dante, he was a tiny scrap of a kitten, and he looked so cute when meatloafing. My mom said "That's not a meatloaf-- that's a muffin!" Now he has grown quite a bit, and he seems to have stopped growing

| Happy Birthday, Holly -- 11 years old | 07 Jun 2006 03:14 GMT | 34 |
My beautiful Holly is 11 years old! It's hard to believe that so many years have passed since I adopted her. Her name is a shortened version of "Holiday Cat" because I adopted her between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays (actually, the day after Thanksgiving in 1995). At ...

| No Such thing as "just a" | 07 Jun 2006 02:50 GMT | 7 |
There is a poem called "Just a Horse" which I think is exactly how we feel about all our animal companions and the people who think "just a cat" "just a horse" well they really are "just people". I'd say this applies to any of our animal companions. Author Unknown.

| *Someone* wants his brekkie | 06 Jun 2006 23:55 GMT | 23 |
This morning, after waking up at 5, I waited until 7 as usual before I gave the cats breakfast. I think Caliban thinks if he is being really really cute, I will forget when I was going to give him breakfast and will feed him earlier. Usually, while I'm on the computer reading ...

| Tessie the people XpersonX cat | 06 Jun 2006 23:03 GMT | 4 |
Tessie adores it when we have a visitor at the house... every knock at the door triggers a frantic run to the couch to mew for attention. Even if they never come inside she's still trying to get their attention and show them what a gorgeous kitty she is. But if they come
