Excellent source of new info!08 Jun 2006 04:17 GMT1
Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine has started a site called "The
Indoor Cat Initiative". It has links and info and the "Ask a Vet" section
and in return they ask the help of the cat owners by filling out a
questionaire on their cats. If you are interested, here's the link, ...
Dream with meaning?08 Jun 2006 04:09 GMT7
A couple of nights ago, I dreamed that I found Nanki-Poo devouring a mouse -
in his food dish!
This morning I woke up to find a partially eaten mouse, and a lot of blood,
on my light beige carpet.  Maybe the dream means I should get him a mouse
Please could Thomas have some purrs?08 Jun 2006 03:18 GMT24
Thomas, my elderly next door neighbours cat is a ginger and white boy, a
gentle statesman of a cat who is about 16 or 17. He successfully fought
thyroid problems a couple of years ago which brought him a new lease of
life for a while, but recently he has been losing weight and going
Hiram Percy Maxim08 Jun 2006 02:25 GMT31
Max died Tuesday night.
The day following my divorce from a twenty year marriage,
I bought a 60 acre place nestled between a large cattle ranch and a larger
military reservation.

It's interesting that after all these years of posting, and being lauded as
the one remailer user who isn't a malicious troll, "Nomen Nescio" has
finally outed himself as a malicious troll.
Purrs, please?08 Jun 2006 00:30 GMT19
May I please ask for purrs for my brother-in-law? We don't know what's
wrong yet, except that his bloodwork doesn't look good. But the docs
haven't figured out what is wrong yet. Apparently he was feeling very
weak, and he is now on sick leave - lucky university's out for the
Peppermint tea?08 Jun 2006 00:18 GMT29
Pearl wants to drink some of my peppermint tea! Is peppermint tea ok for cats?
Thomas UPDATE 207 Jun 2006 22:19 GMT6
Thomas has just got back from TED, where he had his blood tests. His
temperature is down to normal, and he is feeling a bit better - he
hasn't had another fit since yesterday morning. TED has given him a long
acting antibiotic shot until Thursday, when he sees him with the results
Sneaking a Bite07 Jun 2006 21:50 GMT17
Now that poor Bandit is blind, the other kitties have started playing tricks
on her.
Here's Sammy sneaking a bite of her food from right under her nose!!

Thomas UPDATE07 Jun 2006 21:49 GMT17
Thank you for the purrs, they seem to be helping Thomas so please keep
them coming.
Thomas, Mary and I have just got back from Thomas's TED as Thomas had
another fit this morning. It seems that the poor boy has a temperature

Snoopy's mellowing...07 Jun 2006 21:33 GMT4
... in her old age. My sister and her family arrived today to stay for  a
few days, normally Snoopy doesn't like children, not only did she allow my
10 year old niece to stroke her, she actually purred. She still beats up
Baggy just to prove she's not going completely soft. ;-)
Threatening object07 Jun 2006 20:50 GMT7
This morning as I was getting ready for work, Smokey saunters into the bathroom
for his morning lovins. Normally he is sitting on the toilet seat waiting for
me. He notices a very threatening object sticking out of the cabinet under the
sink (it was a piece of the plastic wrap on ...
Purrs for Rusty please07 Jun 2006 18:10 GMT24
Recently I noticed Rusty seems to be shedding more.
This morning I used the Zoom Groom on him and the
amount of fur that came off startles me.
We are trying to rid him of ringworm, and I dread the
BASTARD Appliances.07 Jun 2006 17:38 GMT55
It's spread over the Atlantic. The applicance revolt has arrived in
Cardiff. The ignition switch on my car has thrown in the towel, and god
alone knows how much it will cost to replace. I can't start my car.
I am so very pissed off.
