Extreme cuddliness13 Jun 2006 15:16 GMT28
The nights are getting colder and colder and Vino is getting cuddlier
and cuddlier.
Now that Dennis is gone, Vino has continued the tradition and is
sleeping on my chest when I'm lying on the couch watching TV.  Last

I wish I had the words to help your broken heart but, I don't. You have to
understand that Betty had the best possible life with you.  In the end all
your love couldn't cure her and you made the hardest but most loving choice
you could for Betty. You helped to end her pain. You ...
Virus Alert 13 Jun 2006 04:51 GMT2
Dear Folks,
There is a virus making the rounds which has been sending a
subject line "new graphic site". From what I can tell, the virus has
been infecting computers across the world.
Roxie's Home!!!13 Jun 2006 03:47 GMT7
It was worse than we thought, or could have been, but thank God we got it.
That loose tooth of Roxie’s was actually part of a nasty network of gingival
evil. Periodontitis, I think it’s spelled? The loose tooth didn’t even have a
root! That poor girl’s root just had melted off, God ...
Poor Wolfie13 Jun 2006 01:47 GMT5
Poor Wolfie just has too much fur, and he bites when I groom him, so
grooming sessions are very, very short and haphazard.  And although I
give hairball meds liberally, it doesn't always help.
So he had a terrible bout of diarrhea this week.  Which meant, given
Moving advice...12 Jun 2006 23:10 GMT8
Hey all,
I could use some advice from everyone who knows the ups and downs of moving
cats.  They're only going about 15 mins. down the road.  That's the good
thing!!  But when I release them from their crates into their new
Hiding cat12 Jun 2006 22:47 GMT4
Have you ever noticed that most cats are great at playing "hide and go
seek"?
They always win.  I can seldom find them, but they always manage to
find me.
Charlie has gone to the Bridge12 Jun 2006 22:36 GMT14
Thank you all for your purrs and prayers for my friend Marna and her
Charlie.  Sadly, he developed liver failure, and they sent him gently
to the Bridge on Wednesday.  She is heartbroken.  Purrs for her heart
to heal gratefully received.

So she isn't a cat12 Jun 2006 22:08 GMT2
But I'm so doggone proud of Kayla anyway.
She was spayed two weeks ago and we went in yesterday to get her stitches
out.  She is thirty pounds of solid muscle and energy.  But she allowed the
vet tech to lift her onto the table and roll her over.  The tech held her
Lizard12 Jun 2006 16:28 GMT7
I have just discovered that the garden is home to a young lizard. Where
there's one there's bound to be more - I hope!
So far I've never seen the cats with any.
Cheers, helen s
RIP litte lizard12 Jun 2006 16:20 GMT13
An unfortunate lizard (or even gecko, it was impossible to tell) made
its way into the enclosure overnight. All that was left this morning was
a chewed-up body on the hallway. Basho was very intently looking at it,

Tyler gave me a few more grey hairs12 Jun 2006 15:46 GMT3
I've been building an outdoor enclosure for my gang, and it's almost
finished. There are still a few possible escape routes which I'm fixing
up one at a time, but none is obvious or (I thought) easily accessible,
so yesterday I let all the kitties out under my supervision. I went ...
