yowling went harsher and when yesterday he wouldn't even sniff the
sausage patty brought home from breakfast - it was as though he waited

Update on Rusty03 May 2006 07:34 GMT5
Well, I just got back from the vet. The ringworm on Rusty's ears are gone.
But he got ringworm on his paws and his behind.
I left him at the vet for a bath. Figure they do a better job than I do.
I came home to wash the floors with bleach. Will go back to pick him up

You folks know my father has these wild ideas.  I got my insurance license
because he thought it would be a good idea.  Well, I had it before, but I
never used it.  Next he suggested I go to cooking school.  Um.  I love to
cook, don't get me wrong.  But I've worked in the restaurant ...

One of my cats, Äkäpussi, behaves like she's become one of the lambs...

Oscar likes ... cheddar?02 May 2006 12:33 GMT19
Last night I had a bit of shredded cheddar.  It was extremely sharp,
pungent cheddar, the kind that typically you have to cut with some
other flavor, like apples or crackers, to balance the taste.
I sat down to eat it and Oscar jumped right up, her nose practically
A drive into deepest darkest Leicestershire (OT)02 May 2006 10:06 GMT11
Being a bank holiday today, I decided I would look for the farm where I was
told they kept geese, for when I am ready to get new ones.
It's quite a long way away through country lanes, some of them single-track
and I wombled my way along looking all around and occasionally having ...
Standard treatment for eye infections?02 May 2006 09:16 GMT8
Originally posted this to the fish group by accident, so perhaps Victor has
already seen it. :)
What's the standard drug (drops) given for eye infections. Cali went to the
vet for an eye infection and lethargy and $120 later ended up with some

Liverwurst, too01 May 2006 22:13 GMT9
I don't remember the last time I've had liverwurst in the house,
although I eat it all the time at my parents' and especially in
Germany, where it's heavenly.
Anyway, it finally occured to me that I could buy some for myself, so
