New Englanders check in17 May 2006 00:03 GMT6
Is every one safe and dry? I know some catslaves live in Mass. other parts
of New England. I'm in Connecticut and there has been some flooding in some
parts of the state but we are not in an area that floods.

Can I just say . . .16 May 2006 23:08 GMT6
. . . what a saving grace this ng is in my life?  When life gets
crazy or stoopid-- which it always does-- what could be better than to
sit down and read about people and their cats (or cats and their
people)?  It is a an oasis of the way things should be. ;)

Expectations about weight OT16 May 2006 18:30 GMT215
I keep seeing posts on here about weight, how much is good and how much

Yesterday we had a family reunion and the first thing my younger uncle's
wife said to me was  "Oh, I'm glad to see you are still slim."  I haven't

Purrs again for Dad16 May 2006 13:09 GMT10
He's hoping for a call back from the military hospital... He's had lymphoma
twice, carcinonma twice (won't use sunblock).  He wheezes like a tea kettle
(emphezema; won't quit smoking)... No idea what his problem is now other
than being old and stubborn!  I really should send him a ...

We had mother's day barbecue with the whole extended family at my mom &
dad's house tonight.  As usual, the boys followed us down the street and
joined us in the backyard.  I took some pictures of Chester and Otis (and my
mother's fabulous garden just beginning to spring).  ...
Our cat Cinnamon is on his way to the Rainbow Bridge16 May 2006 00:44 GMT25
We had to put Cinnamon to sleep a few days ago.  He was about 17 years
old, and had a tumor in his mouth.  Also had kidney trouble.  He wasn't
eating. It was time....
He was a very friendly tabby cat.   Wish cats lived longer.  Now we sent
My morning Wakeup16 May 2006 00:28 GMT10
I feel these paws kneading my throat this morning, Miss Cleo. Keep those

starting to hurt... Mmmph.
We're knackered mum!!!16 May 2006 00:20 GMT3
Today was such a beautiful day, I left the cat flap open for the kids
when I went out this morning so that they could go in the garden during
the day. When I got home, all five cats were crashed out on the sofa.
I went into the garden, and started speaking to my neighbours over the
out of my mind?15 May 2006 23:59 GMT20
I just woke up.  It's 4:45am.
Why did I wake up?  I remembered that my friend had insisted that I
take the bread we used for dinner at her house home with me, and I'd
left it in my motorcycle saddlebag (as I'd predicted, I forgot).
