Britta and Vino update21 Apr 2006 22:32 GMT7
Just letting you all know - Britta and Vino arrived here in Purrth safe
and well. Vino's got to stay in quarantine for a month and Britta's
headed off down to Margaret River. I'm sure she'll tell you all the
details as soon as she gets internet access there.

Just to recap, Kira is my Miranda's mum, and Emil is Mir's brother.
Kasper is a distant uncle. You can see where Miranda gets her worried
look from!

Rescuers Renew Effort to Save Kitten
(excerpt)
Rescuers used drills, miniature cameras, cat food and even a one-pound raw
fish in a desperate effort Wednesday to entice an 11-month old cat named
Purrs for Smokey21 Apr 2006 22:28 GMT39
Our 16YO Smokey is staying overnight at the vet.  He has had a history
of throwing up every so often for a while now.  Sometimes a hairball,
sometimes grass, sometimes just because he ate too fast.
He had his "senior physical" with all the blood work in January and was
the guys in migration21 Apr 2006 22:28 GMT1
Yesterday was the FL-to-PA drive day.  Case started it off by barfing in
my travel bag then in my lap.  Never again will she get food before the
trip.  Simon was seen at the last gas stop in Florida and then not again
until gas in Lebanon PA (under the drivers seat I guess).  The ...

If you like Cats, you got to see this one. A Video montage with the
most funniest images of Cats I have ever seen in one shoot. At least,
I, loved it. Very cute and funny.

Is something wrong with Fez?21 Apr 2006 19:54 GMT6
Fez is quite a vocal boy. You might remember the story of how I picked
him among his siblings at the shelter. I opened the cage and I saw a
pile of orange fuzzies. He looked up, saw me, got up and meowed his
little lungs out, while walking towards me. It was love at first sight.  ...
Jessie Finds A Convenient Spot...21 Apr 2006 19:49 GMT19
...for squirrel watching.  I couldn't believe this when I walked into my
kitchen a few minutes ago.  I guess she got tired of sitting up at the door
looking out at the squirrels!

<faint shriek, faint>  Enid's vet bill.21 Apr 2006 18:25 GMT36
You will not believe Enid's vet bill that came today.
The vet did warn me that the bill would escalate to 200 pounds if I went for
the endoscopy so I said to hold off for a couple of days to see how the
antibiotics worked and if they didn't I'd think again.
Persia 's so funny!!21 Apr 2006 16:47 GMT7
Persia is terrified of thunder.  She hides in the closet.  Well, it's
storming again this morning but it's almost time for her to be fed so she
has ventured out of the closet a couple of times to meow at me.  Then the
thunder booms again and she runs back into the closet.  It's too ...
Little brat!21 Apr 2006 15:00 GMT4
Nanki-Poo and Lindy get along pretty well for the most part.  That is, they
get along as well as any sister and brother do.  Like all younger brothers,
Nanki-Poo likes to tease Lindy, and, like all older sisters, Lindy reacts
with annoyance.
fondue dinner21 Apr 2006 13:19 GMT40
We invited friends over for an oil fondue dinner.  Such fun!
They brought a spinach salad with strawberries, walnuts, and an herbed
Greek cheese.
To cook in the oil we had buffalo and beef cubes (from, as they call
Never too old to kill bedmice21 Apr 2006 13:00 GMT8
Snoopy was 16 in March, maybe it's the spring weather, last night she
decided she had to kill the bedmice. She pounced, grabbed and bunny kicked.
I couldn't help laughing, she had that look in eyes that I think most slaves
have seen, that says I'm a f'rocious tiger don't mess with ...
Ping Karen / Medical advice: Benefiber and Guar Gum21 Apr 2006 04:50 GMT13
So, I noticed that the active ingredient in Benefiber is Guar Gum.  I
googled and find all sorts of info about how it's been banned from
weight loss supplements.
Why is it not banned as a fiber supplement?  Are the amounts involved
