| Purrs for Smokey | 21 Apr 2006 22:28 GMT | 39 |
Our 16YO Smokey is staying overnight at the vet. He has had a history of throwing up every so often for a while now. Sometimes a hairball, sometimes grass, sometimes just because he ate too fast. He had his "senior physical" with all the blood work in January and was

| the guys in migration | 21 Apr 2006 22:28 GMT | 1 |
Yesterday was the FL-to-PA drive day. Case started it off by barfing in my travel bag then in my lap. Never again will she get food before the trip. Simon was seen at the last gas stop in Florida and then not again until gas in Lebanon PA (under the drivers seat I guess). The ...

| Is something wrong with Fez? | 21 Apr 2006 19:54 GMT | 6 |
Fez is quite a vocal boy. You might remember the story of how I picked him among his siblings at the shelter. I opened the cage and I saw a pile of orange fuzzies. He looked up, saw me, got up and meowed his little lungs out, while walking towards me. It was love at first sight. ...

| <faint shriek, faint> Enid's vet bill. | 21 Apr 2006 18:25 GMT | 36 |
You will not believe Enid's vet bill that came today. The vet did warn me that the bill would escalate to 200 pounds if I went for the endoscopy so I said to hold off for a couple of days to see how the antibiotics worked and if they didn't I'd think again.

| Persia 's so funny!! | 21 Apr 2006 16:47 GMT | 7 |
Persia is terrified of thunder. She hides in the closet. Well, it's storming again this morning but it's almost time for her to be fed so she has ventured out of the closet a couple of times to meow at me. Then the thunder booms again and she runs back into the closet. It's too ...

| Little brat! | 21 Apr 2006 15:00 GMT | 4 |
Nanki-Poo and Lindy get along pretty well for the most part. That is, they get along as well as any sister and brother do. Like all younger brothers, Nanki-Poo likes to tease Lindy, and, like all older sisters, Lindy reacts with annoyance.

| Never too old to kill bedmice | 21 Apr 2006 13:00 GMT | 8 |
Snoopy was 16 in March, maybe it's the spring weather, last night she decided she had to kill the bedmice. She pounced, grabbed and bunny kicked. I couldn't help laughing, she had that look in eyes that I think most slaves have seen, that says I'm a f'rocious tiger don't mess with ...

So, I noticed that the active ingredient in Benefiber is Guar Gum. I googled and find all sorts of info about how it's been banned from weight loss supplements. Why is it not banned as a fiber supplement? Are the amounts involved
