The girls were very playful this afternoon22 Apr 2006 22:08 GMT4
At least Tessie and Silver were! First they played with the tissue
paper that came with a set of beads I got today... then Tessie noticed
Silver's tail twitching and she started pouncing it until Silver had
had enough and they wrestled and chased each other around the room...
Lois, Ken and Kitties22 Apr 2006 22:04 GMT10
I went to see Lois last week and guess what, she had kept two Burmese
kittens.   (for those of you who didn't know, Lois bred Bonnie and Clyde).
I have never seen such naughtiness.    They used Ken's stomach as a
trampoline,  raced up my arm and did a circuit of my head, sped up ...

Meowmie sez I'ze one year old today, and now I'm a big boy and can't be
a hoolikitten no more. HAHA! Dream on, lady! Just wait til she takes a
shower. <sharpening claws>

The Potjie News (long)22 Apr 2006 21:52 GMT12
Having lost the secret of signing on myself onto the cat page, and
having forgotten to get you to again show me how to do it while you
were here, here is The Potjie News:
Among my birthday prezzies was Potjie, Tish's thoughtful and very
Purrs for the ones who didn't make it out...22 Apr 2006 19:44 GMT6
There was a large apartment fire in a nearby town this afternoon. I
don't know how many pets may  have lost their lives, but there
probably were a few. Firefighters were able to save at least one cat,
and another made good his escape.  Here are a couple of videos shot at
CRACK! goes the thunder!22 Apr 2006 18:15 GMT3
FLASH! goes the lightening.  HIDE in the closet goes Persia.
The temps dropped from almost 90 yesterday to the 70's today.  Thunder is
booming and I no longer need the air conditioning on.  This is not nice
weather.

He hasn't forgotten22 Apr 2006 13:45 GMT53
Shmogg is getting old. He's got the 'old cat' dimple in his haunches, even
though there's still a bit of an udder down below. He spends most of his day
sleeping, and has no interest whatsoever in the red greebling. Compared to
IBKFergus' manic behaviour, he's pretty much a ...
feeding stray-- who me?22 Apr 2006 10:12 GMT17
Don't even think about suggesting that I would feed a stray cat.
Not unless he looks really skinny.
And is very polite.
And seems to have taken to my cats.
Responsible Dog Owner (TW)22 Apr 2006 02:43 GMT22
I was just watching a re-run of the show 'Cops' (it's the wee hours of the
morning).  No idea where it was taped but this appeared to be a very nice,
middle-class neighborhood.  Two pit bulls broke out through a loose board in
their wooden fence and killed a man's cat that was ...

Doctors Check Role Of Cats In Bird Flu Spread
NEW YORK -- Researchers think some people who let their cats roam free
should bring them inside to prevent the spread of bird flu.
But American cat owners need not worry: This advice applies only to
Dante and the Evil Yellow Chicken21 Apr 2006 23:10 GMT12
Over the past couple of days, Dante has re-discovered the feather
duster and has killed it and dragged it all over the house a number of
times.  He dragged it into bed last night.  He's busy killing it
again, now.
purrs requested (for a D-thing). and offered (RIP Oscar the Pug)21 Apr 2006 22:41 GMT10
My brother's thirteen (?) year old pug had a seizure and passed to the
other side earlier tonight. Purrs, doggy wags, and whatever else can be
spared are requested for my Mom, brother and myself. But especially for
my Mom and Brother it is hitting them pretty hard.
6 months with Lily-Whiskers (long)21 Apr 2006 22:40 GMT11
Looking at my beautiful 6 month old tabby and white girl wrestling &
playing with HRFL Tiger while I type this, it seems hard to believe that
she was such a pathetic little scrap who I thought would be making a
rapid journey to Rainbow Bridge when she arrived in my household. I've
