Cats and Cross Stitching24 Apr 2006 18:17 GMT22
Anyone have the fun of dealing with the above two subjects?
I love cross stitching and been buying those little kits for a long
time.  For my brother's wedding, i made a pattern of a Geisha girl by a
cherry tree, and one of a Samurai.  My brother and sister in law loved
TW: Sad but true film.24 Apr 2006 17:34 GMT1
Those of us who have animal sites, this would be a very good link to
add. It is very sad, but not in any way gory. It focuses on shelter
euthanaisia through lack of spaying and neutering and is very well
done.
To Roll or not to Roll ......24 Apr 2006 12:39 GMT2
I've overheard a lot of conversations with Fluffy.   They take place on the
front lawn of our house near the footpath and go something like this.
Tomasina, who lives two doors down and is owned by two cats.    "Ooooh
Fluffy, you are gorgeous, it's time you came down to see me, ...
The new, improved Eli-cat24 Apr 2006 10:57 GMT2
Some new 'firsts' for Eli: He now sleeps mostly on his back with belly
exposed and upside-downy-head, and has started drooling when he smurgles. I
first noted the drips from his mouth a few nights ago getting ready for bed,
which is when he stands near my pillow and purrs for all ...
*SIGH*24 Apr 2006 02:49 GMT17
For the last few weeks, I've been trying to identify where the smell of
cat pee is coming from in my living room. Eventually I found out today.
Someone has been peeing behind the sofa. I have my suspicions who it
might be, because I caught Cleo middening in the kitchen so it looks
Purrs for my friends kitty24 Apr 2006 02:44 GMT25
She did not know about Easter Lilys and her husband brought one home
this afternoon at around 1pm. Around 2 her male cat, Foster, came in
and meowed, and threw up. They could see two leaves in the food. She
immediately wondered about the new plant and looked it up and

Barney is a Boogerbutt!24 Apr 2006 02:19 GMT1
The silly cat!  *Every* time I scoop the litterboxes, he will run up, just
as I am about to put the back on, hop into it, dig around a bit, then
proceed to leave me a, erm, 'pressie' to scoop out.  Once, he sat there for
what seemed like 3 minutes, and all he left were 2 ...
Kate gets her stitches out24 Apr 2006 01:28 GMT5
Last Tuesday was the day.  I was set to take her on the bus, which I
hate to do, but thought I had no choice.  Luckily, my friend Dave
found out about it, and was kind enough to get us there and back.
The vet tech came out to the waiting area and said "Your guys are so
Very OT - Jury duty, day 824 Apr 2006 00:48 GMT12
I haven't mentioned this before, but I've been on Jury Duty for the last
few days. 3 days last week, and every day this week. We're just about to
start our 3rd day of deliberation.
I have learned some important things in these last few days:

Anyone has a British Shorthair ?
I hate to do this, but....23 Apr 2006 22:04 GMT19
Sorry to do this again, and ask for purrs for me, but please could I
have some purrs and good luck thoughts? Things are pretty tough at the
moment, and whilst I *hope* and *believe* that they are due to resolve
themselves in the next 2 weeks, I am feeling pretty sick, stressed and
Cat saves baby's life23 Apr 2006 21:52 GMT44
I just saw this story at:

I've pasted it below in case it doesn't stay at that URL for long:

Deep Ear Infection23 Apr 2006 00:44 GMT15
Has anyone had a cat with a middle ear infection? How did you treat it?
We've been fighting Bear's ear infection for months, and today he was
put under to have an ear flush and x-rays. Turns out his ear drum is
GONE, it's been eaten by the infection. The problem is worse than we
Pic: Caliban sleeping22 Apr 2006 22:13 GMT17
Nothing we haven't seen a hundred times already, but I think he's so
incredibly cute when he's sleeping. ;o) He was curled up in a ball, but
then I just had to smooch him a little, and he unfolded and got stuck in
this position half an hour ago. He's still like that. ;o)
