| Little Miss Stinky-Pooper gets a bath | 02 Apr 2006 07:35 GMT | 5 |
A while ago Lily jumped into my lap stinking of poo and what was stuck in the fur under her tail was a lot more than gas, so off to the bathtub we went. The little girl was so sweet for me - never even *considered* using claws

| Vino's daddy home soon | 02 Apr 2006 07:17 GMT | 6 |
Less than 24 hours until Dennis gets home from Florida. I've been telling Vino that his daddy is on his way and I think it's making him very excited! Poor Dennis is going to be destroyed after his flight. It's taking him 3 days to get home if you include the time difference. He's ...

| Whistling | 02 Apr 2006 04:25 GMT | 1 |
I thought Boyfriend was out and wanted him in tonight just now before I go to bed soon, so I called him with the special whistling that I use that he responds to. Well, he did respond, he appeared from under the kitchen table from where he

| Why won't my cat eat alone? | 01 Apr 2006 21:57 GMT | 10 |
I'm wondering how many other people's cats are very strange when it comes to eating. My cat wakes me up at 6:00 a.m. everyday, whining constantly. I have to get up and go to the kitchen, where there is plenty of food in his bowl. What's more, he doesn't want fresh food-

| Big hairball | 01 Apr 2006 21:41 GMT | 3 |
Woke up last night to the sound of Vino puking. Got up and found a big hairball in the hallway. I cleaned it up and went back to bed. Now I'm thinking that Vino might have been feeling bad for the last few days. He's been sleeping *a lot*. I hope he feels better today.

| Vigil. | 01 Apr 2006 21:21 GMT | 18 |
Pandora's home - I picked her up a while ago. She's asleep (exhausted) in her thick comfy bed in my study. All 4 of the other cats are in the meatloaf position, purring in a circular vigil around her. Quite unbelieveable if I didn't see it myself with my own eyes.

| Cruising Cats: alligator alert! | 01 Apr 2006 21:07 GMT | 33 |
Ahoy from the boat Genesis. We just spotted our first alligator! It was floating in the shallows with just its beady eyes and two bumpy nostrils above the water. We are almost 50 miles (7 hours) out of Galveston,Texas, heading east on

| Ahh, Spring! | 01 Apr 2006 06:14 GMT | 8 |
It's over 60 degrees F. I can see crocuses and daffodils from the window. Two black and white cats are sitting in the sunshine, the gentle breezes making their little whiskers quiver. ;) Sunday we begin Daylight Savings Time. We;ve made it through another winter,

| The mighty huntress Roadcat strikes again! | 01 Apr 2006 04:58 GMT | 3 |
Nancy works some really long hours, but fortunately is able to do some of her work from home. Consequently she frequently doesn't leave the house until a hour or two after I do. This morning she was getting ready for work when she heard a commotion out

| My new fake cat | 01 Apr 2006 03:57 GMT | 7 |
I ordinarily have three or four feline "helpers" near my desk at home. I cannot have cats at work (darn it!). So I thought I'd get a stuffed cat for my desk. It looks like this (pardon the quality of my camera phone's images):

| BW--Spring Outing--long | 01 Apr 2006 02:33 GMT | 8 |
After the big snow storm, the weather got real nice. Some of the snow is still out there; but the air has that warm softness you find only in the spring. So I decided to take the cats out one at a time on the harness.
