Sorry, Kids, but I'm back04 Apr 2006 13:32 GMT7
Just got home from Raleigh a bit ago.  We had a great time, though we had to
change hotels because the Red Roof Inn was full up.  So we ended up at the
Econo Lodge off of Capital Blvd and Appliance Road.  It was a nice place and
we were able to find everything we wanted to see ...

Lily almost became ex-Lily this morning. At 5am (on a Sunday) she
decided that it was breakfast time and that she was going to jump on my
head, HRFL's head, Robbies head (BIG MISTAKE!) and Cleo (all of whom
were asleep on my bed) to try and get someone up to give her wet gooshy
Purrs for Mithu04 Apr 2006 10:52 GMT24
I'm taking him into TED tomorrow morning. He's been barfing a lot more
recently, and 2-3 times in the past 2 weeks has appeared to lose his
balance some, and then start walking in circles, almost compulsively.
He straightens himself out within a minute or two, but I'm wondering if
Bandit's Going Blind04 Apr 2006 09:21 GMT28
Or at least very, very near-sighted.  At 16, I guess that's not all that
unusual.  She's been to the vet recently and is in great health otherwise,
so this isn't the result of an illness, just age.  She doesn't seem to be
bothered by it, the only reason I noticed is that she ...
Cat-Care Tip:04 Apr 2006 07:20 GMT1
Never use a human toothpaste on your cat's teeth. Our toothpaste is made to
be rinsed out of our mouths, and cats can't rinse or spit.
No matter what type of litter box you buy for your cat, make sure she can
easily get into and out of it. Be especially careful when you're buying ...

Sad Vet Trip03 Apr 2006 22:09 GMT29
No, not the ULTIMATE sad vet trip, quite yet.  But I took Pan in for a
follow up vet visit today, and while Pan's thyroid is normal, Dr. Mell
believes his kidneys are going.  There is very little he can do, and
that would only delay the inevitable. When you're an eighteen year-old

This morning we rescued a toad.  It was trying unsuccessfully to climb up
the bulkhead and get out of the water.  We used the net we brought in case

I HOPE EVERYONE IS OK IN OHIO, KENTUCKY AND THAT WHOLE AREA UP THERE03 Apr 2006 19:10 GMT3
I just saw they had a tornado in Illinois.  Kentucky is getting pounded by
80 plus wind gust.
I am saying extra prayers for everyone up there .  My family called me and
told me they are hiding in the storm shelter.

I was having a fitful nights sleep with Smokey at my side (as always) and
Miss Cleo roaming around from spot to spot and bring me her toys (WUWTA). At
one point I was laying on my side beside Smokey and Cleo was lying on my
Bicep. Miss Cleo stretches out her paw and sits there ...
Tigger03 Apr 2006 16:02 GMT1
When my ex-boyfriend Jeff was young, he had a cat named Tigger, a
Ritalin-challenged half-Siamese with a loud mouth and energy beyond
comprehension. His family was known in our small town for going
overboard in spoiling their animals--one dog ate not Purina, but a fresh
