Tornado sirens went off three times in three hours (which indicates a funnel
cloud was spotted) and the thunder and lightening were horrendous, but all
is well here for now.  Persia hid in the closet and I though briefly about
joining her (there's a pillow and a comforter in there) ...
Remember Radar O'Reilly?09 Apr 2006 01:42 GMT7
For some reason, I found myself wondering what Gary Burgoff was doing now,
and looked him up on the web.  Not only is he doing well, but he is still an
animal fan and painter.  I found his web site with pictures of his prints,
including a cat one I really want (not happening, but ...
Try This at Home from The Daily Cat08 Apr 2006 23:55 GMT3
Cats just love to sit in boxes. Feline behaviorists aren't sure why, but
they know it's true. The next time you get something by mail order, put the
box on the floor for a few days and let your cat leap in and out. You'll be
amazed at how much she'll enjoy a simple cardboard box.

Last Thursday ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition: After the Storm,
was in St. Bernards Parish.  They were actually there on Feb 21st.

But I do hope that they are getting KMR as doggy-milk is different than

This picture doesn't even qualify as "cute" in my book - this cat is
simply beautiful.

Nothing really bad weatherwise other than a few thunderstorms in the Memphis
area but towns to the east of here got hit hard.  Purrs for those who met
the devestation and lost their lives in points east in Tennessee last night.
What can I say?  'Tis the season.  I expect it.  I ...

Now that my economy has started to revive after all the vet bills last
autumn, I could finally get myself a new TV. It came in a big box, and
of course it's the best cat toy ever. Here are some shots of Caliban
playing in it. He ripped open that hole all by himself from the ...

Hugs,

whose bed is it anyway?08 Apr 2006 13:34 GMT7
DH is away for 3 weeks for work, so last night was the first of
several nights of just me, Spock and Persephone.  We have a king size
bed, but since Persephone, in particular, likes to snuggle up close it
sometimes gets a little squeezy in the bed.  Usually, with both me and

Stinkster was doing it from my lap-- I was at the computer, which is
next to a window, and his hind legs were planted on my lap, while his
Kate and Jack Update07 Apr 2006 21:47 GMT4
Well, it is always insane for me to get up at 7 am, since I'm a night
owl.  But these places always insist the kitties have to be in by 8 or
8:30 or thereabouts.  So I dragged myself out of bed and pretty much
felt like a zombie.
rescued kitty update07 Apr 2006 20:44 GMT2
Popping in to post an update of the kitties my girlfriend and I
rescued.  Two males that appeared to be litter mates and very close we
were able to adapt together!  The silver tabby got to his new home and
started sniffing and sneezing excessively and we worried that it was
A bit absent..07 Apr 2006 20:11 GMT3
Sorry I've been a bit absent lately, I've had a lot going on with my family.
I've been really missing you guys and wishing I could catch up and swap cat
stories, but certain things, and people, in my life, are demanding all my
attention at the moment. i will be popping in when I ...
