My MIL had hip replacement surgery today and came through it ok (she's
79 and has COPD) even though her hip was in far worse condition than
thought originally - she had to have a general anaesthetic instead of
an epidural. A few purrs for a quick recovery would be appreciated.

Well, I FINALLY got hold of Andrea and spoke to her this afternoon,
after employing some lateral thinking tactics and roping in a couple of
friends to make some checks in odd places for me.
Her updates are, that she's not in brilliant health, although she is OK

For those of you following my daughter's Katrina saga....
I have some *VERY* good news.
First, Erin and Greg finished putting on the new roof last weekend (they did
it *BY THEMSELVES*).  They've also finished replacing all the studs inside

Those of you who have been posting here for some time will remember the
major surgery I had to have last year.  I had to have a very long incision
from above my ribcage down to the pubis due the nature of what was wrong, so
that all my other organs could be looked at.

Moe is my little sweetheart at the moment, he's sitting next to me with both
paws around my waist, purring up at me!! Such a little charmer!

My grandma is in the hospital.  She was having trouble breathing and is
now on oxygen and pills to get fluid out of her lungs.  She is getting
weaker and weaker, and she is 94, and my dad says it doesn't look good.
