Kiss and Makeup?27 Mar 2006 01:50 GMT1
Mischief and Mayhem were hissing at each other this morning, so i
decided to grab both of them
I had one cat under each arm and put them nose to nose.
"You two stop it RIGHT NOW!!  You two kiss and make up and stop this
My Meowmie took me to TED!27 Mar 2006 01:35 GMT10
I knew it was bad news when  she brought out TWO carriers. Unka Pan has
to go to da TED more often than me and Mama, so at first, I didn't know
which of us was supposed to get in. I managed to get away from Meowmie
after her first attempt to stuff me into one carrier and I hid  ...
Nyah nyah26 Mar 2006 23:40 GMT2
Stinky is sitting in my lap right now, while I work at the keyboard,
all curled up and purring up a storm, and kneading away.  He is a
lapful. ;)  Dante is whacking a bottle cap around the floor, and as he
whizzes by, Stinky pokes his head up and gives a little growl.  Nyah
Purrs and prayers again, if y'all don't mind26 Mar 2006 23:08 GMT10
Wednesday is our day in court. We would like to ask for purrs and prayers
that things go our way, and even if they don't, that things don't get so bad
for us and we get a little break. It's not the end of the world, but going
to court if you're the one being sued is not pleasant ...
grandma, england, etc26 Mar 2006 20:34 GMT4
First up, thank you for the purrs.  My grandmother's condition has not
only stabilized, she's perked up and we had a good conversation on the
phone (not just me talking at her).
Secondly, I'm going on a trip to Newcastle, UK to present an academic
Basement cats26 Mar 2006 19:29 GMT19
Otis has been terrible at night again.  He gets up first at 2 AM and then at
6:30 AM.  My face and collar bone have little scratches from him trying to
get my attention.  Fred and I are exhausted all the time.
The boys have been in the basement for the last two nights and we've ...
Tooth-pulling purrs26 Mar 2006 18:57 GMT14
If ya'll could spare a few purrs for poor Midnight and Robin's recovery from
the dentist -- Middie had to have 1 tooth pulled and Robin had to have 2
pulled due to something called "neck lesions," which I guess is a fancy word
for decay at the gumline.  Wah -- both are staying ...
Purrs for DH26 Mar 2006 18:25 GMT18
Peter has  a cyst on  his hand just below where you would have a callus
below your fingers. He was told my our family doctor that he will need
surgery. We are going to see a hand doctor Thursday morning.
His employer knows about the cyst but said it is not work related. It will
How many times a day should I feed Tessie?26 Mar 2006 04:39 GMT6
I put the bowl back on the dresser yesterday after they knocked it off
the cat tree... I just heard scrunching sounds and thought 'good
Tessie's having lunch' but then I swivelled my head and saw black fur
on the bench, and grey fur up on the dresser... wrong cat eating!
This made my day, and more26 Mar 2006 03:19 GMT1
I now feel really and truly that I am at home, because this morning I was
greeted by a beautiful little snake in my front yard.
At times like this I am very glad the cats can't go out.
The neighbors' dogs26 Mar 2006 03:11 GMT17
In the house closest to mine lives a couple and three dogs. Their yard is
not fenced, so the dogs only get to go out with the people, and mostly only
when they need to relieve themselves. I did not realize until the other
night that they are letting their dogs poop in my yard. I ...
Cat Five's Purrday26 Mar 2006 03:09 GMT7
Today (3/24) is the second anniversary of our adopting a timid tabby named
Jasmine from the local shelter, giving the girl we then renamed "Cat Five"
her new home.  Since then he has amazed and amused us, taken driving trips
to Canada with us and been our sweet little lap warmer.  ...
Kibble tricks & quibbles26 Mar 2006 02:01 GMT3
I do a lot of my grocery shopping at little stores like those you can find
all over the Ozarks that sell "discount" foods - e.i. dented cans, off
brands, stuff that's almost past its "sell by" date, etc. Amazing how much
it saves me.
Purrs to all in need26 Mar 2006 01:55 GMT1
I have been so busy lately and I haven't had much computer time.  Every
chance i get to log on, there are at least 400 messages.  So, if I've been
neglectful of purrs in need, I'm sending some out to all.

shocks from mice? (OT)26 Mar 2006 01:39 GMT21
I am losing my mind, or are there other people who sometimes feel electrical
hits in the hand from the computer's mouse.
Please, folks, don't be kind and say you have felt this if you have not. Be
honest. I need to know if it's time to call the guys in the white coats to
