Foster kitty update02 Mar 2006 09:37 GMT7
I am glad I chose a new vet.  It is a clinic I have used before but they
are on the other side of town so I haven't been there in a while.
However, they have a great reputation.  I dropped her off this morning
and they looked at her a little later.  They are giving her subQ ...
Jessie, a few pics02 Mar 2006 06:21 GMT6
I've just been in to see my neighbour and taken a few more pictures of her
owner, Jessie. I don't think she was too happy about being woken up. ;-)
Three pictures starting here.

I'm baaa-aaaack!02 Mar 2006 05:10 GMT11
My dear friends, I am back from my fabulous trip to Italy
!!  As soon as possible, I will post my pictures on my Webshots page,
and give you all the URL.  But please excuse me if it is in a few
days, since I fell and sprained my wrist in Rome-- in fact, I can't
foster kitty still sick02 Mar 2006 03:45 GMT17
I am really worried about her now.  Her ribs are evident and I think she
is very dehydrated.  I am going to be taking her to a different vet
because I don't think the one I took her to - the one I take mine to for
shots because he is cheap - is good enough for serious things when ...
A few pics02 Mar 2006 03:24 GMT12
Pardon another post, but I also wanted to share new pics of Rhett
and Bonnie, and there's another installment of "Shamrock's head"
in a picture with Scarlett in there.

Has anyone heard how Miss Lily-Whiskers is doing?  I haven't seen
Helen here for awhile...
Purrs, please...?02 Mar 2006 03:09 GMT34
I just left the hospital after a few days on the cardiac floor.
They still don't quite know if I had a heart attack. Thing is, they
don't know what it is at all. Saturday at work I started having the
chest pains, not to mention a fit of panic that could have shaken off my
ping people with cat enclosures02 Mar 2006 02:22 GMT7
What sort of mesh materials are your cat enclosures made of? I've been
enclosing my existing back verandah to make a space for the cats to play
in and am about to order some mesh for the walls. The mesh I've been
recommended by a local supplier is made of a UV stabilised plastic

other over couch, bench, chair, table, me, up the screens, then back

One year02 Mar 2006 00:12 GMT38
One year ago today, I lost my perfect guy, my Grant. I still miss the
flump of him tossing himself down beside me at night. I miss finding
pompom balls in my purse and shoes. I miss his mrrrrp of greating and
his eyes widening at the sound of the word FOOD. I love my girls, but I ...
Purrs for a friend's brother, please01 Mar 2006 23:37 GMT12
My friend's 55-year-old brother was rushed to the hospital last week with
seizures. To make a long story short, they found a mass on his brain and
are operating today to remove it. It's most likely malignant.
The good news is that where it IS in the brain is a "good" place, if there
A beautiful elderly ladycat01 Mar 2006 21:41 GMT13
(Note: Yes, I have a therapist.  No, I'm not currently depressed,
suicidal, unstable, or anything like that.  I'm just trying to figure
some stuff out, and I find it helps to have an unbiased person to work
with and talk to.)
Dulce Mae worries about me01 Mar 2006 18:53 GMT8
It's Saturday. It's shopping day. It's raining hard.
When I get home, I dread having to unload the trunk, in the heavy
rain. Partly because it's wet, partly because my inconsiderate
neighbors have friends over, taking up all the parking places near my

Good news!01 Mar 2006 18:19 GMT13
I sold the electric stove yesterday!  The cash is buying the Toyota repairs
and some Feliway and there's even enough left to fill the van's gas tank!!!
Billy and Lily seem very happy to have meowmie all to themselves and are
liking the house with all this extra space, too.
