No, please don't let me disturb you06 Mar 2006 15:58 GMT4
I awoke tonight to go to the bathroom to find Mattie ensconced on my
pillow.  Normally she takes the half near the headboard and leaves me
the half on the bed.  Not this time, she was spread out across the whole
pillow.  Thoroughly sacked out.  When I got up, she didn't move a ...
New rule # 574406 Mar 2006 15:54 GMT6
New rule: if cat screams at door to enclosure, said cat will go outside
when Meowmie runs over to open said door. This is non-negotiable. If cat
does not exit when door is opened, cat will be grabbed and thrown
outside. Cat will then stay outside for at least two minutes before
Cat Miracle Diet06 Mar 2006 15:48 GMT3
"Borrowed" from rfc:
CAT MIRACLE DIET
Most diets fail because we are still thinking and eating like people.  For
those us who have never had any success dieting. Well now there is the new
Another price increase on Hill's prescription food.06 Mar 2006 15:47 GMT11
It was less than a year ago when I complained about Hill's price increase
on prescription cat food. Now I got hit with another price hike.
It is about 10% hike total. At this rate, don't know how long I can keep
up. Rusty will never gain weight as I have to ration his food and he ...
Damn, Smokey learns a new word06 Mar 2006 15:44 GMT9
We thought Smokey's CHEEZ addiction was funny in the beginning. "Smokey want
the CHEEZ?" It was funny until she learned the word, she even reacts to the
Pizza commercials on the TV. "Did someone say CHEEZ?" So the CHEEZ is now
known as the Orange Stuff. But last night I was ...
Ma-ma!06 Mar 2006 15:43 GMT5
Persia, like any self-respecting cat, loves to snooze in the closet.  She
went in and climbed up on the box to curl up on the comforter.  But then I
heard her say "ma-ma!" which she normally reserves for "feed me!"  I opened
the door wider to have a look.  Somehow she managed to get ...

No matter where I go...06 Mar 2006 15:10 GMT9
... there they are.  This was true when I only had three cats in the
apartment, but with four, it seems like I am being spied on or
something.  My three cats are always within five feet of me.  Now
Calico, my foster has decided she needs to be underfoot too.  I don't
My lord & masters' prayer06 Mar 2006 14:50 GMT2
Our Servant, who art at altitude, human be thy name.
Our kingdom come.
Our will be done, Inside as it is in the Out.
Give us this day our daily treats.
cat brush question06 Mar 2006 10:59 GMT32
Jasmine's shedding is becoming more and more of a problem!! As her kittens
are all fluffy and prone to shed, our house is becoming furrier and dustier
by the day. I accept that living with multiple cats=fur flying, however I
would like to help them keep it under control, ...
Miss Pua's bump06 Mar 2006 09:21 GMT15
I've felt it before, but I finally figured out what it is!  When Pua lays a
certain way on her side, I can feel a rib stick out.  I think she's been
kicked before.  It explains why she runs when she hears loud voices or if I
say "no" when she's being boisterous, she flees under the ...
whiffy kitties!06 Mar 2006 03:44 GMT6
Hi all! Just a quick question on the gang of orange.  They are just over 4
months now, and I can't get them desexed until 6 months (no vet in my state
will touch them before 6) and they are a bit, well, smelly. Not as in
spraying, but there is a definite odour that my others ...
Eli has been moved05 Mar 2006 23:13 GMT8
He rode over in the big carrier on the passenger seat. He was so unhappy in
there, he shredded the old pillow I put in for him, but once he got in the
house he was fine. He didn't go hide right away like the others did when
they were moved.

CAT Scan Report05 Mar 2006 05:13 GMT23
Brain CAT scan report came in today.  No problems noted.  That is excellent
but sheds no light on why I get these headaches and why all of a sudden all
the medication stopped working.  Will continue to read research, work with
my wonderful neurologist, listen to and read advice ...
