Growly little man...08 Mar 2006 04:29 GMT5
Muscat is not a happy camper this.  He's obviously pretty sore from his
shots yesterday (both boosters & rabies), one in each hip.  He made allot of
noise when I picked him up, he growled at both sage & Chablis.... & growled
at (gasp) me after I lay him down on the bed & told him I ...
TED Visit08 Mar 2006 03:45 GMT4
Well... Muscat braved TED today.  The worst part for him was the 1/2 hr
drive to town & the 1/2 hour drive back.  The worst part for me was the
speeding ticket on the way in to town... add $110 to the cost of today.
The little man didn't even twitch when he got his shots... Brave ...
I got a digi cam :)08 Mar 2006 02:10 GMT16
And here is the evidence :)
1.  A tisket, a tasket,
two bitties in a basket.

Dana Reeve, devoted wife of Christopher Reeve, has died of lung cancer.
Purrs and purr-ayers for the children they leave behind.

Mingo doing well - teeth cleaned on Thur08 Mar 2006 01:19 GMT5
I wrote previously about Mingo, my foster cat.  He is doing very well.
Eating healthy and has caught up on his sleep.  Mingo is a wonderful
cat and quite a gentleman.  I've been letting him hang out with my
cats (4 girls) and he is very friendly to them, but not pushy.  Only

Puttering about with StumbleUpon this morning, I found the following

Too much gorgeousness!
Snoopy gives herself a manicure07 Mar 2006 17:26 GMT10
Snoopy's new favourite place for the last few days has been her beanbag,
which she's had for ages and mostly ignored. She was washing her paw and
decided to chew on a claw, this something she often does, sometimes when she
sitting on my stomach. Picture here:
Laughing cat07 Mar 2006 16:07 GMT5
I am convinced Teti has a lot of humour, at least when it comes to rough
playing. When I pick him up, holding him a few centimeters from the the
floor, swirling him around 360 degrees, he usually gives out a high pitched
sound, sounding like "Eeeep". I put him down on the floor ...
Cease-fire in effect07 Mar 2006 13:47 GMT10
The tension between Eli and Lily has all but evaporated.
A few minutes ago I was in the kitchen opening a can (of hoomin food) but of
course all the cats came running at the sound, and hung around my feet
begging. (Even Baby Eyes, who will hardly touch wet food, does it.) In that
TED Today...07 Mar 2006 04:03 GMT3
Muscat can't understand why I won't let him outside this....  Next will come
the cat carrier... Then the 1/2 hr drive to town.... Lucky little man.
Nothing serious... He's overdue for his shots & has had a case of the runs
this week, so we're gonna deal with both @ once.
Snow Zoomies07 Mar 2006 02:35 GMT9
I wish I'd had a camcorder, ten minutes ago, it's been snowing for while
this morning and Baggy has been having great fun, dashing around and
pouncing on the snow greeblings. He's come in now to warm his paws, I expect
he'll go out for more play later.
Did I Do Something Wrong? [OT]06 Mar 2006 22:09 GMT82
Maybe it's just the way the group is focused right now, maybe I'm being too
sensitive for no reason, maybe I'm being childish - all very real
possibilities.
But also, maybe I've done something wrong and offended people here?
Airborne catnip?06 Mar 2006 21:55 GMT4
What's the deal with these Feliway diffusers? Most of the time it's like all
the cats are stoned on catnip. There's been no fighting yet, more than 12
hours since Eli was brought in. Lily still growls if he gets very close to
her, but she's quit running away when she sees him. The ...

A kind of etiquette even exists among two boycats competing for
meatloafing space on Mommy's chest.  They seem to have set up a kind
of rotation.
Stinky is first of course.  He will meatloaf there for awhile.  Then
The End of the Raven06 Mar 2006 16:00 GMT5
The End of the Raven
-- by Edgar Allen Poe's Cat
On a night quite unenchanting, when the rain was downward slanting,
I awakened to the ranting of the man I catch mice for.
