| The road to peaceful co-existence... | 14 Mar 2006 22:38 GMT | 12 |
Tessie is a little hoolikitten... but she has accepted that Silver is THE BOSS (but can be played with, batted at, chased and asked to chase in return), and she has realised that Scouty is NOT TO BE DISTURBED AT ANY COSTS. We let her out all day last week and she was very good

| New discovery for Tucker-- How to Play Nice! | 14 Mar 2006 21:31 GMT | 7 |
I just had to tell ya'll this 'cause it is too cute, and, for me, quite heartwarming... In June it'll be 3 years since we took in feral Tucker boy and shy scaredy-cat Robin and just now in the last week these two boycats have learned how to play with each other. Talk about a ...

| Suicidal Mice | 14 Mar 2006 19:56 GMT | 9 |
I was looking out in the kitten room at Kaleen and Susie, Susie (three months old) was playing with one of those small grey toy mice, having a great time with it, trotting around with it in her mouth, she dropped it, IT scuttled off down the room, oh no a real mouse, the teeniest ...

| Scarlett's new favorite toy | 14 Mar 2006 18:55 GMT | 6 |
... is a rubber baseball. It squeaks when you squeeze it. It's been downstairs all this time, and whenever we're all down there she pushes it around the floor, and carries it around making it do tiny squeaks. I've never seen a cat carry a ball around in their mouth

| Abelard's first (that I know of) hairball | 14 Mar 2006 18:36 GMT | 4 |
Saw him hork up a tiny hairball today. That's a first for Abelard, to my knowledge. Come to think of it, I've never seen one from any of the other kitties except Baby Eyes (who has them often because she washes everyone else).

| Are cats psychic? (psychotic?) | 14 Mar 2006 06:38 GMT | 15 |
My Dusty ... it's very strange (the situation, that is)... it seems she can anticipate my every move. If I get up to go to the bathroom ... she is two steps AHEAD of me ... if I get up to go to the kitchen ... two steps AHEAD of me ... leading the way ... kind following me ... in

| OMG, Pill Hell | 14 Mar 2006 02:04 GMT | 15 |
We came home from lunch to find that someone had thrown up their pill on the rug. No way to tell who. Likely Kumani, but Tyche's also had pukes and I don't put it past Nox to retch it up out of spite. Went on the Net and found out that Drontal can be safely crushed, so we

| EWWWWW | 14 Mar 2006 01:47 GMT | 4 |
It's late at night. Tired, long day, get back after midnight. In my bedroom slippers. Knew there were little mousies on the floor. Keep stepping on one by the kitchen sink but not bother to turn on the main light to see.

| Oscar, the ... cuddly cat? | 13 Mar 2006 23:27 GMT | 7 |
Oscar is just getting more and more snuggly. In the last year or so I've seen a drastic change in her behavior. She likes to be held. She sits on my lap (assuming it's covered with the magic blanket) for

| The little thing's sore on hind leg is back. Depo? | 13 Mar 2006 22:00 GMT | 12 |
Now it seems like it's the left hind leg rather than the right one that she licks. There may be a small sore on the right hind leg too, but I'll have to check again. She's had two shot of depo medrol in the past year after a combo of

| Kitty Capers | 13 Mar 2006 17:21 GMT | 3 |
Setting the scene for the story below. We have three new babies, Soumra is now nearly 6 months old, he is a boy from Phoebe's last litter, joining him is two wee girls, Kaleen is Gigi's daughter and Susie is Freya's daughter, they are 3 months old, like all

| Silhouette | 13 Mar 2006 17:06 GMT | 3 |
I was playing around with my graphics program and altered this one of Scarlett and Rhett watching the massive flock of birds in the front yard a month ago. I think it turned out kind of neat. The filter is called "plaster"
