Beautiful Miranda19 Mar 2006 11:27 GMT8
You asked for a picture of Barnabus so I'm sending you one.  I had bought a
butterfly chair for Hobbes many years ago and he eventually tired of it so
it was stored away in the closet.  I realized Barnabus might enjoy it so I
brought it back out.  Barnabus realized right away ...
Tim Tam Ice cream19 Mar 2006 08:28 GMT40
MMMmmmmm. Right now I have four pairs of pitiful little eyes watching me,
and have discovered that Congo (biggest, fattest, and most masculine kitten)
has an extremely pitiful, small, weak, kittenish mew. He is also very good
at looking starved; probably why he is so hefty. For ...
St. Paddy's Day: Don't Forget19 Mar 2006 05:33 GMT11
It's St. Patrick's Day, so I will pass on to all of you my dear Irish
grandmother's strict admonition for the day:
"Don't forget to go to City Hall to get your @$$ painted green."
When I was younger, I used to imagine this as a rather solemn civic
The Whisker Jar19 Mar 2006 02:20 GMT20
I was asked about my whisker jar recently.  I keep cat whiskers because
I very rarely find them and consider it a good omen when I do. I seem to
remember that several of us here keep whiskers when we find them.  When
I started this however, the question was what to keep them in.  ...
Wet Kitten Alert!19 Mar 2006 00:55 GMT32
Well, kittens are kittens, you know, which means they are sometimes a
bit lacking in the smarts department.
Kate and Jack, in addition to the above, are also fascinated with
water.  They're in the tub, the sink, back to the tub, back to the

Ping Licky18 Mar 2006 23:26 GMT5
KFC will teleport over to see her boyfriend Licky this weekend which will
keep her out of the way of Mimi teleporting over to see Boyfriend.
She would like to eat Fancy Feast, as she can't get it here and she's heard
about it.  She requires a cushion to sleep on and access to the ...
Clumping Litter - NOT18 Mar 2006 22:50 GMT14
We started to have trouble with one of the Litter Boxes not clumping, all
the litter was damp. So we took it out of service for a cleaning and now one
of the other boxes seems to be showing the same symptoms. So is it the
Litter or does one of the cats have very acidic urine?

Loss of appetite18 Mar 2006 18:29 GMT22
After almost a week of Clavamox, Rusty is losing his appetite. He hardly
touched his
dinner tonight.  I tried to spoon feed him to no avail. Tomorrow when I go
to pickup
I think I've created a monster18 Mar 2006 15:59 GMT1
...or maybe two.  I never used to give the cats treats, mostly because
Sundance's delicate digestive system is easily upset by new foods.  However,
someone gave me a bag of cat treats for Christmas, so I've been handing them
out occasionally.
Charlie's new person18 Mar 2006 15:54 GMT8
Well, it seems that Charlie has adopted a new person.  I sent him to
live with a Melanie, her husband and daughter of two years old.  He has
known Melanie for years now.  But it is her husband he is adopting.  Her
husband has become his new love.  Not that he won't come out for ...

Please could HRFL have some emergency purrs?
He sneaked out of the house this evening without me knowing and was
chased by the neighbours dog. He has now gone missing and despite
looking for the last 2 hours we can't find him anywhere. I am absolutely
