Betty is a BIG girl now!!21 Feb 2006 13:12 GMT5
Well, not quite as she has some growing yet to do (although a part of me
wishes she would stay this size, mostly because she's they're soo-o-o-o cute
at this stage, no kitten look left, they look like Big Kitties, but they
still *act* like the itty-bitties they were a few short ...
What a mess!21 Feb 2006 12:51 GMT1
Last night Scouty and Silver broke into the closet in the livingroom
and had a catnip feast... I'm not sure how they got at the packet, but
they sure had fun... this morning the closet door was open and when I
peered inside this is what I saw -
Silver needs a 12-step program21 Feb 2006 04:34 GMT2
John gave Silver some catnip on the weekend to reward her for being
good about Tessie, and he must have left the packet where it was
accessible to the cats... big oops! When I came out to the livingroom
this morning the closet door was pushed open, so I closed it. Then I

How to find a new slave21 Feb 2006 02:35 GMT13
Due to things I don't want to go into here, and besides, it makes my
blood boil to think about it, I need to help my sister find new homes
for her cats. She has three: A big, senior orange and white boy who
is timid, but a lovebug when he gets to know you, a BIG stripey thing
Tessie and Silver were in the same room...20 Feb 2006 22:54 GMT8
Tessie's room is stinky and way too hot so I opened the door... Silver
came in to investigate and she's sitting by the door. Tessie was on
the table and she jumped down and Silver hissed at her... They were
staring at each other and I gave Silver some kitty treats (Tessie

I am fostering a cat whose owner died of cancer last week.  I didn't
know the woman, but a friend of mine did and she is allergic to cats and
had the cat at her house so I offered to take the cat into my one
bedroom apartment with my THREE cats.
My cat-in-law's picture is on fatfelines.com! :o)20 Feb 2006 05:01 GMT15
LOL! I just got an email from my sister-in-law.
Annie's cat, Saturn, has made it onto a site called http://fatfelines.com/
Dora the Explora20 Feb 2006 04:33 GMT3
Is apparently sufficiently bright and interesting for cats. Sugar and
Pearl are watching it avidly right now. I must admit, Sugar is more
intersted than Pearl. Lots of moving things and a cursor to follow
around clicking on things. She is now going to sit on the stool
PS Reggie retires19 Feb 2006 23:50 GMT4
I almost forgot-- I found out today that Reggie the Giant Orange
Woolsucker is retiring from the bakery business.  Reggie is a
beautiful and very (!) friendly orange boy who lives in a local
bakery, greets customers, and always seems to pay special compliments

Tuesday Will had an upset tummy and vomited a couple of times.
Yesterday he wouldn't eat, even though I could tell that he was
recovered enough to be hungry.  He'd just sort of taken food in
disgust and couldn't be persuaded that eating was a good idea.

I am the greatest hoomin19 Feb 2006 19:18 GMT8
So Waffles was telling me last night.
I got some lovely fresh fish. Some salmon, prawns, smoked haddock & pollack
fillet. I made a fish pie.
So there I was gently poaching the fish in milk, and I then used the same
First snow for 3 kitties19 Feb 2006 06:01 GMT2
We have more than a dusting of snow for the first time in three years. Billy
and Lily are experiencing "deep" snow for the first time. For Beatrice this
is the very first snow of any depth.
The actual snowfall was only about 3" but there are drifts much deeper than

Princess that she is, even Mirana's eating place is elevated. ;o) I feed
