The Strange Passions of Tiny Tabbies28 Feb 2006 03:32 GMT19
I have a 7-lb gray tabby with a slight, long, pointy-faced kind of build.
She is very polite and cautious, but seeks us out for "boneless cat" kind of
affection and conquers her rubber snake several times a day with great
fanfare. This is a "thinking cat." The kind who gives you a ...
Rexie is sharing w-Mama and Loki !28 Feb 2006 03:22 GMT2
It was a coolish day today, so we had Mama in. She and Rexie and Loki decided to
sleep all afternoon! There are several cute fotos (at least I think so),
starting here:

She's STARVING!28 Feb 2006 02:34 GMT15
I know, I know... every cat will use their wiles to try to convince us
owners they are starving constantly.  However, I think something has changed
since I last boarded Persia.
Since the vet determined she was a bit "fluffy" a while back he had me cut

Sick foster kitty update28 Feb 2006 00:30 GMT10
I took her to the vet bright and early this morning.  She was dehydrated
and the vet said her stomach was churning and she did have diarrhea, so
he gave her a shot with all kinds of stuff in it, a couple of cans of
food for easy digestion and sent her home.  Her dental has been ...
Any advice welcome28 Feb 2006 00:15 GMT22
The problem: the cats have started to use the enclosure as their
litterbox. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, and on the island, I hope
they will use the big Out for their business. But the enclosure isn't
very big, and I don't think they can use it very long before it starts

I need ideas FAST - EMERGENCY27 Feb 2006 21:44 GMT10
The cat I am fostering has climbed into the most inaccessible place in
my apartment - underneath my TV stand.  It is heavy and not very
movable.  She is sick - not been out for food or water or litter box for
the last day - unlike her.  Normally she sleeps out in the open where ...
So does this mean I'm dying? ;-)27 Feb 2006 18:55 GMT2
Pippin has been sleeping on the guest bed for several months now, but
last night he joined me in bed for the first time in recent memory. He
stayed with me almost all night, throughout my late pregnancy and
head-cold induced tossings and turnings.  It was a nice treat, although
He's back after being away for 3 days!27 Feb 2006 18:43 GMT9
I am soo happy! I had given up hope. Stinky, my
beloved 14 mo tom, is back after being away for 3
days!
His roaming and fighting have been getting worse.
Trying to pop in here and there...still some progress on the home kitty front27 Feb 2006 18:42 GMT6
Hi ya'll,
For now, having a few breaks from Real Life, I just wanted to pop in and say
hi.  Have missed you all.  Thought I'd report some good news.  The kitty
dynamics since Omar left us for the Rainbow Bridge in November have
Purrs for my brother, Scott (PING: Howard?!)27 Feb 2006 15:03 GMT21
Before I left on my trip, Scott called me early one morning to say he was
very ill.  He had been sick for 4 days.  That morning he got up to take a
shower and got so dizzy he nearly passed out.  He was having trouble
breathing and almost called 911.  He was in a panic.  He called me ...
Why I Will Let My Cats Hunt--for now27 Feb 2006 07:19 GMT6
Yesterday both cats were opening the bottom kitchen cabinets and actually
diving in. The sure sign you have a mouse, at least in my experience. We
usually shut them out of the kitchen at night because our Boo, since she has
slimmed down, likes to get up on the kitchen table and bat ...

But only if you have broadband - dialup would prolly take forever.  Come
to think of it though, it might be worth it.
It's kitties, it's cute, and in a couple of places it's laugh-out-loud
