Spudulika is here.
Actually she's been here for quite a while, 18 days, and it's only now

It's Snowing!14 Feb 2006 13:59 GMT28
I clicked on the television, purely for Peaches to have some noise to chirp
to.  What's this ticker across the bottom of the screen?  School closings?
Huh?  I looked out the window; sure enough, it's snowing to beat the band!
Persia's sitting at the front window staring up at the ...

Hi Group,
I'm sorry I haven't been posting much lately. I've been so busy, but I do
try to keep up to date with what's going on here.
Anyway, my Romeo is in hospital now. He was admitted yesterday because he

Nice to be kneaded . . .14 Feb 2006 00:39 GMT7
I know there are a lot of patty paws and biscuit makers around here,
but are there any other kitties who treat their slaves to a

Just when I thought it couldn't get weirder...
Brandy came from an all-volunteer shelter with no proper building but a
network of foster-caretakers who raise the cats until they get adopted.
She was a kitten when found near a school, fed by kids who gave her

Another Red Cross Rant [OT]13 Feb 2006 19:21 GMT17
I just saw a news item about "All My Children" doing a special show about a
Mardi Gras ball (the one where there was an explosion on the set while
filming).  Susan Lucci (Erica Kane) said they wanted to help the victims of
Katrina so during the airing of the show they will have ...
Visitor13 Feb 2006 18:23 GMT14
Vernon has been working on the stable of cycles out in the garage most of
today, with the garage door open. He's had various feline visitors coming
and going as Waffles, Francis and Marble have been in to check on Paw
periodically. Tonight though, he's had another visitor - one ...

Remarkable day for Lily & Eli13 Feb 2006 08:30 GMT2
They've been together in the same room at least four times today without
either one being upset. No growling, no hissing. In fact, at one point I was
holding both of them in my lap and both were purring.
There may yet be hope!
