| Tessie | 15 Feb 2006 09:23 GMT | 40 |
Tessie woke us up at 6.30 this morning meowing for attention so loudly we could hear her from the bedroom... so I went in and turned on the light and said goodmorning and cuddled her a bit... then we left her alone for a few hours. And then it was the fateful moment to put her

| Cats Kneading | 15 Feb 2006 09:10 GMT | 26 |
Anyone know what to do to make a cat stop kneading? I have a 9 month old kitten who only kneads at night time and then snuggles his head into my neck area where he is kneading? Any ideas on how to stop him?

| Cute birthday e-card | 15 Feb 2006 06:25 GMT | 3 |
This is a birthday e-card my sister sent me. OK, my birthday is in September, but I'm cleaning out my bookmarks, and I see that I've had that one saved for 5 months. Anyone can access it, it doesn't require a password. At least I think it doesn't - it could be that I gave it

| Plunger Woman! (OT) | 15 Feb 2006 04:37 GMT | 5 |
Great... just as I'm finalizing my trip plans, I flush the toilet and it overflows everywhere. I've got a flood akin to Noah's. Well, not that bad, but towels all over the floor. I have a plunger and I plunged the heck out of the toilet but I'm afraid to flush it again even with ...

| tessie update | 15 Feb 2006 00:16 GMT | 27 |
Her name's Tessie - because I'm sure the cats think she's The Evil Stranger! We left Tessie shut up in the carrier in the spare room overnight with the door closed and when I woke up this morning I could hear her meowing clear through the door I went into the craft room and

| I know I'm sick because... | 14 Feb 2006 23:56 GMT | 3 |
...Nocturne is in my lap. I can't even remember the last time Nox was a lap kitty. Months and months and months ago. But last night I had a cold, I was achy and feeling bad, and Nocturne jumped right up into my lap and purred and

| Holy Cat! | 14 Feb 2006 23:53 GMT | 7 |
Persia awakened me with her usual gentle tap on my nose, for she surely is a starving waif :) I opened my eyes to see her gazing solemnly at me, purring. But wait a minute, what's this? There was a small white dot right in the middle of her forehead like the bindi (dot) Hindu ...

| A Valentine | 14 Feb 2006 23:07 GMT | 8 |
A Valentine to Polonca and her best friend Soncek. They have always been here to cheer us up, to cheer us on. To say positive words when we need them, give us a hearty pat on the back when we deserved it. She has cried with us, and laughed with us. Polonca has seen us through ...

| Rhia Says Thanks for the Purrs | 14 Feb 2006 18:37 GMT | 2 |
My lovely Siamese 'baby' Rhia says "Thanks for the Purrs" after she ended up rather swollen following her spaying. She went back to the vet yesterday who said the swelling had gone down a lot and who took out her stiches. She's been told that she still needs to be kept quiet for
