Fat Cat toys20 Jan 2006 00:05 GMT10
My sister started it. When she came down to visit she bought my cat Scat
a toy. The brand was Fat Cat and it was just a cloth toy mouse wearing a
funny shirt with a lump of cat nip inside. Scat loved it, she nosed it
all over the place and bunny kicked it when it got unrully.
Can we have going-to-TED purrs in the morning?19 Jan 2006 20:57 GMT8
The girls are off to TED for their annual checkup, shots, and to find
out whether they need worming... I'm sure they're going to take great
exception to having things shoved up their rear ends, so can we have
some purrayers for them please... not to mention purrayers for US who
Miss Chloe............19 Jan 2006 20:43 GMT14

We had a friend over this past weekend (I worked, but he's a friend of my
May I ask for purrs for a friend's kitty?19 Jan 2006 17:56 GMT15
My dear friend KK got the bad news about her beloved cat, Magic.  She
has lymphoma.  They are guessing she has about three months to live.
They have put her on prednisone to try to slow down the progression of
the lymphoma.

Well, it didn't happen.  Of *course* yesterday was Friday the 13th.
He was scheduled for a teeth cleaning and after his three days of

beginning of a severe thunderstorm.  Made for a great driving
Cat Interrupts Catnap, Possibly Saving Two19 Jan 2006 02:16 GMT1
Fair use excerpt:
MANCHESTER, Pa. Jan 18, 2006 — A cat interrupted a catnap, possibly saving
two lives. Jean Poole and her 9-month-old granddaughter were dozing Tuesday
in Poole's home in the Newberry Estates mobile home park. Poole's 7-year-old
[A little OT, but...] RPCA discussions19 Jan 2006 01:28 GMT3
RPCA is a great forum for us idiot cat slaves, with a large number of
discussions on different cat related (or not) topics. It's nice to see how
engaged people can get in these discussions (I know I have been, too).
I know that the discussions on RPCA never can be compared to this ...

Well I went to see her yesterday and she is depressed. Her BUN was
only down to 115 from 123. Dr.  said she seem much more down and not
as alert as day before. I know she is homesick. She is not good with
environment change. She was a stray that found me 5 years ago. I
My New, Improved Kitty Picture Website!18 Jan 2006 22:40 GMT22
For those who've never seen them, or those who'd like to see them
again, this site has pictures of Roxy, Smudge, and Licky, my rescue
kitties Lambchop and Itchy, and many more. I have revamped the site
and have put together several separate cat pages I'd created over
Purrs for Jet, please18 Jan 2006 22:12 GMT34
At the start of December , my parents noticed a new cat wandering about
their back yard. My parents have a large back yard, and Dad has turned all
of it bar one small strip of lawn into a minature botanicl garden, with a
desert area, a jungle area, a native area, a swampy area ...

Cat Trapping Advice18 Jan 2006 15:32 GMT18
This is kind of long and rambling, but if anyone has any advice I'd
appreciate. My experience trapping cats is very limited.
DH tells me there is a feral tuxedo kitten at work. He says it has a
close to zero chance of long-term survival. It will eventually get
