Extreme Cat Makeover21 Jan 2006 17:15 GMT19
After I read about Nocturne's anniversary, it made me remember this
month is Biskit's second year anniversary with us. I looked up the
first picture I ever took of her, when I dragged her out from under the
truck in the freezing rain. She was such a mess.
Five Seconds . . .21 Jan 2006 13:12 GMT9
About the amount it takes after I have scooped Dante's litter box,
before he leaves a very special, super-lethal toxic death-dealing
smellbomb in there.

Music ARLERT! Sally Dworsky21 Jan 2006 05:33 GMT2
I heard this young lady perform the song "Start It All Over Again" with
her brother on A Prairie Home companion last year. I just fell in love
with it and her voice. However, I could find no recordings to buy! That
show aired again tonight and I decided to google again, not with ...
Now I'm worrying about Greenies21 Jan 2006 01:44 GMT16
The warning was for dogs, but I have this little package of Feline
Greenies that one of my catsitting clients gave me recently. Just
yesterday, I thought I'd try them out on my crew. I did hesitate a
moment before opening the package, thinking about the Diamond food
Ping Londoners20 Jan 2006 22:44 GMT16
I have a question. Tom and I are planning a trip to Burope this fall,
we're cashing in some miles and getting a free flight to London. Our
original plan was to fly directly to Rome, but apparently it's a very
popular destination and free flights are hard to come by. :)
Cat restraint (by, not of)20 Jan 2006 22:28 GMT6
My sleep has been poor, and when I tried to get out of bed and really
was too groggy, Mr. Clark and his staff have intervened.
I tend to sleep on my side.  Mr. Clark usually starts out on my chest,
but he's really too heavy, and eventually stretches out next to me.
Face biter20 Jan 2006 21:53 GMT3
Dylan was on call at the hospital on Wednesday night.  At Six a m I
woke up with a tightness in my chest.  Or rather, ON my chest.  Smokey
was sitting there, his nose touching mine, exhaling into my nostrils
and drooling on my lip.  When my eyelids fluttered he promptly nipped
[Biking] Purrs Need for Busted Knee20 Jan 2006 20:35 GMT55
Well, it finally happened - I got my biking shoe stuck on my pedal (I didn't
even know it had clicked onto it).  I had just gotten onto my bike to go
take a ride when DH had come outside (to tell my goodbye - sheesh!).  I
tried to stop and put my foot down, realized too late that ...

Sasha is home 20 Jan 2006 19:41 GMT8
Sasha came home Monday afternoon with  a BUN of 78. He said it was not
a low as he would like but hopes being home will make a difference in
her since he saw how she perks up when I visited. Dr. gave a lesson on
giving her subQ's and she gets 100ml twice a day. She was so HAPPY to
Poor Sammy...20 Jan 2006 17:38 GMT9
She just can't seem to find a place to sleep in which she actually *fits*!

TED report20 Jan 2006 12:05 GMT10
I managed to take the girls by surprise this morning... Scouty was
sleeping in the box under the window and I just petted her and she
purred and I scooped her up and put her into the carrier without a
fuss! I know she won't let me do that again in a hurry but I was
Purrs for Dave to get moving20 Jan 2006 02:30 GMT31
Can we utilise the power of the purr for my SO Dave? He did something
to his foot, looked like a skin infection that has scabbed over so he
can't walk. (Before you point out the obvious, he has such a phobia of
hospitals and doctors that if he wanted to go I'd be calling the
