They thought he was a goner ... but the cat came back

My sister in law could use some purrs for one of her cats. She has
two brothers, beautiful, sweet and lovable black cats about three
years old.
One of them has a fetish for cords. Power cords, speaker cords, mouse

Tom and I went to see Brokeback Mountain yesterday. What a haunting and
beautiful film! I haven't been mesmerized by a movie like that in a very
long time. We could not stop thinking about the characters and the
scenery and the painful love that they both shared.

When I walk down the stairs, Sammy will wait at the head of the stairs to
give me a head start.  When I'm halfway down, I see her ears lay back, she
rears up just a little, and then she *THROWS* herself down the stairs, gives
me a clawless tap on the back of my leg on the way ...

Last night I thought the cats had finally copped my credit card# when I
found a package at the door marked "tropical Fish".  It was just a
carton from eBay with amateur pavkaging.

Today was a strange day at our house. We weren't quite sure if we were
having a party or what. Meowmie gave us lots of yummies - poached
chicky-bird and turkeybird, and lots of shrimpies. Stupid Caliban had
never seen shrimpies before, and he didn't know you were supposed to eat

The grey & white cat that was tormenting Persia at the window last week is
laying dead by the side of the road :(  Someone half-covered it with a trash
bag; I can only guess they moved it over by the curb out of the road.  I
went and knocked on the across-the-street neighbor's door ...

My mother's friend, Val, is owned by a beautiful boy called Mac. I've posted
a picture of him on webshots.

Today my daughter told me she's pregnant.  She miscarried the first baby
last year.
When you have a spare moment, would you please, from time to time, send her
some purrs for a successful pregnancy and a healthy baby?

Once again, blanket purrs for everyone who needs them.  For jobs, friends,
family and of course, furr-balls :)

I had an idea, since nothing else was working, on how to get back on a
regular sleep schedule rather than stay up all night.  I stayed up all
night!

Well Sesame seems to be feeling a bit better and she has eaten all the
chicken I cooked for her, albeit in about 6 very small servings. TED has put
her on a drug called maxalon to help with the (I think induced by the other
drug) nausea. I didn't take her myself but apparently he ...
