Yay, hurray! OT11 Jan 2006 13:04 GMT32
Finally we completed buying that lot in Australia.  Whew!  It has just
taken forever and with Dennis being away, I had to do all the paperwork.
It all involved countless emails, faxes and phone calls.  The money
transfer was a nightmare, I was so stressed between Christmas and ...

You can see clearly her green eyes and the subtle black stripes on her tail
Netiquette - a rational view11 Jan 2006 12:28 GMT54
Let's start out by saying that we are very open here, and not
(normally) pushy about what is basically just a convention.
However, since most text-based media simulate conversation, it has
been the practice on Usenet, to post beneath the original text, so
Spotty's new game11 Jan 2006 11:44 GMT3
As I was sitting here reading I just noticed that Spot has invented a
new bottle cap game. This game is played over in the corner by the
panty, where I have the vacuum cleaner sitting waiting to be used.
Spot is batting the bottle cap behind the vacuum cleaner, then jumping
Yummy food for Kitty FC11 Jan 2006 06:25 GMT18
Following on his previous success, Boyfie brought another collared dove and
laid it on the doormat for Kitty this morning.
As her highness didn't deign to go outside until this evening to notice it,
poor Boyfie got a few bops round the ear during the day.
Picture of the visitor11 Jan 2006 06:00 GMT23
I've just got a picture of the cat that visits my garden, he has got a lot
less nervous since I've been feeding him. At the moment, both he and
Bagheera are both in the garden, they are ignoring each other but hopefully
they will become friends.
My New Wallpaper11 Jan 2006 04:50 GMT5
This one of Sammy is just *SO* adorable I had to make it my new Windows
wallpaper.  You'd never think, to look at it, that she was really a little
hellion, now would you?   ;>

Purrs for Jessie, Please11 Jan 2006 04:43 GMT27
Jessie is looking a little peaked (her coat is getting ragged looking and
her third eyelid is showing), and after weighing her I found she's lost
quite a bit of weight in the last 3 months (from 7.65 to 6.8 pounds).

The White Towel11 Jan 2006 04:32 GMT9
As a professional animal trainer, I was disturbed when my own dog
developed a bad habit.  Every time I hung my wash out on the
clothesline, she would yank it down.  Drastic action was called for.
I put a white kitchen towel on the line and waited.

Kinda OT: Cleaning the pantry11 Jan 2006 03:08 GMT7
I took the day off today (I have to burn off all but 40 hrs of vacation
time by Jan 31 or lose it) and Tom suggested I used the time to clean
the pantry. Mr. Smarty Pants didn't are for the colony of moths we had
living there... ;-)
Humane Society pet food warning-IMPORTANT11 Jan 2006 02:23 GMT3
The Humane Society of the US just ran an article about a pet food recall due
to toxic contamination.  It is for both dog and cat food produced by one
manufacturer.  Here is the link to the article:

More on the Diamond pet food recall11 Jan 2006 01:26 GMT4
Reposted from another group.  It seems that the Costco Kirkland
store brand and the Chicken Soup lines may also be affected:
